Elections Donald Trump releases "Official Trump Coins" in bid to raise money as Harris campaign gains momentum

They're not supposed to. A lot of people have a mistaken idea of how common and easy it is to convert campaign donations to personal funds (which leads to a bunch of other misconceptions). There are very strict rules about it, and people are generally extremely careful not to run afoul of them. I think Trump is the sleaziest politician out there, and regularly pushes the limits, but based on the disclosure on the site, this really does just look like personal enrichment.
Didn't he pay for his lawyers with campaign money?

1.Invest in Truth Social, Trump coin
2. wait
3. profit!

I am going to get rich, bitches!

Will these only rise in value, like my Franklin Mint collector plates?
Not sure if your serious or joking. But some of those go for $200 to $300 a piece. My grandma bought a bunch for pennies at a yard sale in 1992. In 2021 she told a couple for 300 each. Which to me is kinda silly but welcome to the collector's market.
