I've cleared this up for you but I'll give it one more try.

I came in here to say that Trump's word is meaningless. That's it. So if he claims "fake news" I don't give a fuck, I'd fact check it because he is a compulsive liar.

It's pretty straight forward man.

Except that situation literally just happened and you didn't fact check it, or even read it, you just started defending a fake news story

Maybe that's all you and yours cared about but you don't speak for everyone. And there actually was fake news before Trump usurped the term. Things like pizzagate and the Pope endorsing Trump.

Uh, because nobody except Putin, Trump, and Putin's pet translator were a part of it. Not a US translator, not Tillerson, not McMaster, not anyone.

Add to that Trump didn't mention it, the White House didn't mention it, even to try to spin it as "look at how wonderful of a job Trump is doing improving our relationship with Russia," which would have been the smart play to try to show Trump's ability on the international stage, and to get ahead of any potential attempt to frame it as further Trump and Russia conspiracy.

Instead, it was reported by our allies as a "WTF, why is Trump buddy buddy with Putin, spending an hour with that corrupt thug alone instead of working to shore up the US's relationship with us."

Amusing that you're still not addressing the crux of the situation though, which is that if the DNC wasn't a bunch of corrupt bunch of fuckwads behind closed doors, none of this would've been an issue.
