Crime Donald Trump Hush Money Fraud Trial (5/30 Update: Trump Found Guilty on All 34 Felony Charges)

Barack Obama waged an illegal war without Congressional approval.
But he didn't. Again, you can't just make shit up and then convict people. You need actual evidence of real crimes.
George Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction. They won't be targeted because the people who own our government were the driving factors behind those crimes against humanity.
Again: To prosecute in America, you need actual evidence of a crime.

I'm a bit surprised at the amount of leftists who met this verdict with a resounding shrug, along with everyone else.
No shrugging from me. This was fantastic, and significant. It's funny, because I was just earlier today thinking about all the cases against him and how they were going to pan out. Didn't expect a verdict today.

Trump's signature piece of legislation while POTUS was massive tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy and corporations. He wasn't some rebel sticking it to the man.
And he just stood in a room with a bunch of super rich guys and told them he'd allow them to pollute (and profit off polluting) more if they give him a billion dollars.

War crimes are not within the "scope of their duty." Neither are illegal acts of war. They won't be targeted because they play ball with the elites.
Presidents are Commanders-In-Chief of the military. It would be very unlikely to see a former POTUS charged for something like ordering air strikes.

Hatching a multi-state scheme to illegally toss tens of thousands of Americans’ votes, on the other hand, is nowhere near arguable as an official duty. Ditto for falsifying business records to influence an election, stealing boxes and boxes of documents, and so on.

This entire “Trump won’t bow to the Deep State/Elites/Weaponized Whomever” is a myth. It is a coping mechanism for people who can’t bear to face the truth, which is that Trump stands apart from his peers in his sheer corruption and criminality.
