DON FRYE HOF

I rewatched UFC 1 through UFC 20 this week (I was a bit under the weather), and I wanted to ask you guys opinion on Don Frye and whether he should or should not be inducted into the UFC HOF.

I got to say he is my favorite fighter from the pre-Zuffa era. Not only did he win UFC 8, he also won UFC Ultimate 96 tournament. In the UFC he only lost against Coleman who heavily outweight him.

I feel that since he is the first real complete mma-fighter, has won two tournaments against heavier guys as well, he should seriously be considered to be inducted.
The only downside is that after UFC 10 he quit competing in the ufc and had success (although not winning tournament, title again).

so what do you guys think?

There was a time when he was knocking every one out in the UFC. What a massacre. He was also one of the first all rounded fighters of his era. Trained in boxing, wrestling, judo, bjj. Hell yeah his moustache alone is HOF worthy.

I've always maintained the opinion that all of the standout fighters who made multiple appearances from UFC 1-10 should be entered into the Hall of Fame.

Much less deserving fighters are in the HOF. The only reason why he's not in is because he doesn't get along with uncle Dana. He's always been an anti-establishment guy. A man of his own rules he answers to no one.

If Bonnar is why not? I would like to see the UFC expand the HOF to give Pride some love. Really I just want a general MMA Hall of Fame disconeected from the UFC.
