Elections DOGE is formed

So... after building SpaceX & Tesla frok the ground-up, he's yet to prove himself to be an effective leader?
I don't think the tech industry's Messianic cult of personality leadership style translates well to government.
Straight face explation -
If you have a goal to best the fastest time to run a mile by 10 seconds... but you fail and only best it by 3 seconds... it makes you a failure, right?

No, it makes you a world record holder.
What the fuck analogy is this lol. Musk saying he'll cut $2 trillion is like saying you'll shave 10 seconds off your time and then not even making it off the couch. Be honest: What's the most in cost savings you'll think Musk finds annually?
I don't give a shit about their CVs.
You don't give a shit about Buttigege's love of trains making him qualified to be Transportation Secretary.

His love of trains is based on trains being run on him.

So by all means, keep going on about how Musk is unqualified.
In what was Rachel Levine or KJP not qualified for their positions? Buttigieg wasn't my pick for Transport, but at least it ain't an important department.
Did you forget how to read? You really should consider broadening your learning from just memes to actual prose.

The key words of this sentence are "I don't think.'

You being a 'tech guy' should appreciate this.

Don't know yet.
We'll see how well he does.
You're demanding predictions of success as if he doesn't achieve absolute success, which would be $2 trillion cut from the budget, means he'd be an absolute failure.
Only those with Musk hate-boners have that standard.

Doesn't matter if you approved of that appointment or not, it was the standard of qualifications within the Biden administration.

And although I've asked you previously in this thread, you haven't named any specific names for anyone that would judge federal department efficiency better than Elon Musk.

They created a meme government agency to cut on wasteful government spending.

Yes.

It's not even an agency, it's just an advisory board that they've named deceptively on purpose. That much they acknowledged in the press release "outside of government".

So basically just smoke, like some sort of Hyperloop

He was hamstrung by false accusations, impeachments, and do nothing democrats while in his first term. Now that he has the house and the senate, as well as Supreme Court that leans more towards sanity, he can get some things done. Democrats are rooting for him to fail because they hate this country, they would rather see it burn than see DJT have success. It's a good thing sanity won this election, he should have the opportunity to make every democrat eat a fat orange turd in the shape of a crow.

He had the House and Senate for his 2 years in office, and what did he do with it?

That's the number he threw around, don't blame us for taking his word.

What would be a success? cutting half of that? one quarter?

That’s an interesting chart. Promises broken at only 3%

Looks like Biden accomplished—at the time of this chart anyway—38% total with another 24% in the works and another 32% that he attempted but were stalled generally because of republicans. That’s 94% that he made an actual honest attempt to keep, that’s hardly a bad record.

More like 'Promises Kept at 28%' which means 72% are either failures or coping for not yet accomplished.

38% really as there was an additional 10% that were kept but involved some form of compromise to get done. The highest percentage in the whole chart was those stalled, and looking through those a whole lot are stalled by republicans.

I mean, I don’t really fault Obama for not closing Gitmo or Biden not getting student loan debt cancelled when they both tried a zillion times and wre blocked by Republicans in Congress or conservative SCOTUS justices. I blame conservatives that they didn’t get done. That chart tells me that while we accomplished a ton during Biden’s one term, we could’ve done a whole lot more if people would stop voting in republicans.

The giant asteroid can't come soon enough to wipe out the meme the world has become.
Sorry brother but "Giant Asteroid" is a meme.

It's their meme, we're just worlding in it, so to speak
Trump let the doges out
Who, who who who?
this is how internet content works on any site and isn't a scathing commentary on musk more than any other major content owner/provider man I don't really know what to tell you
Just wait until @Jon! realizes this has been done with published literature such as books in book stores, Oprah, NYT bestseller lists etc for ever.

Same game, different field.

Like Pickleball to Tennis, or tennis to badminton, or badminton to table tennis, or baseball to stickball, or... hmm... stickball to caveman stickrock

Thus, the entire point of bringing it up.

Some in this thread are demanding for Elon to find $2 trillion in cuts to the budget through defunding federal departments.... or else he's a complete failure.

That standard isn't given to political figureheads on their own team, like Biden. If it was, those 'compromises' would be also be viewed as failures.
