Dog meat: There are countries that eat it !

Not it's not fair. Its a hypocrisy. A notion in your head.

Pig's brain = dog's brain = high capacity for suffering.
You were trolling hard in the last animal morality thread I saw you in, but this is exactly right. Almost everyone loves to eat pig, and they have every bit of intelligence and emotion that a dog does and more. There's definitely hypocrisy on a large scale. Dogs were important allies in human development though. Where pigs have always been preyed upon, dogs have been an extension of man since a time we weren't alone at the top. They may be our ally, but the pig suffers just as much.

Had it in a Seoul market a few weeks ago. Was pretty stinky and poor cuts for the most part (stew), but makgeolli washes that shit down something proper.

Dogs are pals, not food.

Dog meat has been illegal in Taiwan for a long time that last time someone was discovered to sell them the shop ended up on national news and court.

Lol funny that you tagged me and banchan @loyalyolayal . I’ve had dog meat more than once. Usually my grandmother would get some from a market and cook up a stew for me. Maybe once every few months. She also had a pet dog who she loved to death but she would still eat dog meat. I guess its no different from people who have pet fish and still eat fish. One thing people should know about eating dog in Korea is that it’s not all that common nowadays. Its harder to find restaurants that serve it and many younger people have never eaten it. I know people my age who think I’m weird for having had it.

I love dogs and have a dog, but the fact that the meat is coming from a dog makes no difference. It’s an animal, and it’s dead. My main qualms with dog (and cat) meat (in Korea anyway) is how they are treated. They are usually raised in horrible conditions with no oversight or regulation, but I guess it’s no different from how cows, pigs, and chickens are raised in factory farms in the US.

I hear old people eatcat but not the same extent. I haven’t had it though.

Please let it be a chihuahua since I consider those things to be more like rats more than dogs. Never did like that breed

I took a British friend to have some and the guy was going on about how young kids these are pussies for being skittish about food. If they were starving they wouldn’t thinking about how horrible it is to eat dog. Dude couldn’t handle the smell and says he’ll never have dog meat again

its the rarest meat you will find anywhere in korea. its propaganda when you hear like everyone eats it and its everywhere. its actually pretty darn hard to find it especially in seoul

only poor old people eat dog.

when they die you will see the rate dramatically plummet.

Statistically, the number of poor old people has only been increasing for thousands of years.

There has definitely never been a time in recorded history when there were no poor old people.

Fuck chihuahuas. Fuck them and their Napoleonic complex. Nasty creatures they are.

But I still wouldn't eat them.

unfortunately for dogs old people in korea been living a long time. you typically only see people who knew starvation in their time thinking nothing wrong with eating dog. and even so this tends to be more rural minded thing. there are lots of people from rural parts of the country working in seoul and also rural people from china that i can see buying it but im saying this very honestly the vast majority of urban koreans frown on eating dogs and its very rare to even find it there.
