Media Doesn't this seem unfair to DDP? He's a champion

Simply a very physical fighter who relies mostly on his genetics.

It's not luck, him slipping through Adesanya's body while still having enough grip to get a takedown is a testament to his strength. Same with charging forward, losing balance but still having his legs planted enough to deliver and land an overhand right.

It's all physical ability and will-power.

I dont know how he is champion. Brad Tavares, Brunson, many other less than average fighters made him look like an unskilled retard out there.

Props to him for being champ, but he’s no world beater and will lose very soon. In many fights he looked so bad and was hurt that his opponent even seemed shocked that someone this bad is in front of them and DDP somehow turned the fight around. Its a bit what Fury was saying about Francis, you’re used to some technical, skilled opponents, training partners, then all of a sudden you have someone terrible an unskilled in front of you, it makes things unpredictable and dangerous.

Since when does some random jackass on the internet represent "we"?

DDP has an awkward style, but what he's doing is not luck. That's not to say there is no luck, but that is a factor for everyone, and as someone once said "the more I train, the luckier I get".

They call this Drunken Boxing

Not a big fan of DDP but is it considered skill to look like you have no skill, it seems like it would be very hard to do? Its not fair to just say he has better genetics and no skill at this point when his only loss is the the first Sean fight who happens to be the hardest to hit statistically. On the second fight he leveled up, changed his game plan and added new skills to win. Him vs Khamzat is going to be off the chain, I hope he gets mauled and his face looks like it did after the first Sean fight but I an interested to see how Khamzat deals with his size as he is the biggest in the division and already talking about moving up.

I've never really thought his striking looked bad tbh, it was more his bad decision making, ie. trying to lateral drop Brad Tavares and pulling him into full mount.

He's cleaned up a lot of that though, generally makes good decisions now, and he's just a physical beast.

I fully expect him to whoop Chimaev after a competitive first round.
