Does PFL become a real competitor to the UFC if this happens?

No, like it or not the UFC will always be the number 1 MMA promotion in the world. They've achieved WWE status as the top promotion like them with Pro Wrestling.

From here on out until the end of time it will be a battle of who is the 2nd best promotion and best option outside of the UFC. IMO this just solidifies them as the #2 then probably ONE as #3

I would say no way... However I used to work at Blockbuster, so I never forget Netflix.

Or Google taking over Yahoo.

Etc. So maybe? But unlikely

ONE is kind of it's own thing. Bellator has an infinitely better roster than ONE MMA wise.
Yes, but ONE has a better product and that's what matters most. If they have a weak MMA offering for a card it doesn't result in a boring card because they can stack it with exciting KB and MT matches to make up for it. Where as Bellator doesn't have that luxury.

Also shocking if they are trying to sell why UFC wasn't at least offered. Maybe they are trying to get a market value before offering to UFC.
Maybe they did make an offer discreetly. But I think the UFC is out of the buyer's market as long as the legal case is still on.

Why is Sherdog desperate for the biggest and highest quality MMA organisation to fail? Bizarre

PPV is a very small aspect of the UFCs revenue and getting pretty phased out in 2023. Kind of an uneducated response.
Thanks. Didn’t realize that. Btw, your response would’ve been better without that last sentence.

Obly way any other org is conpeting with ufc is if ufc itself orcastrates its own downfall.

People really dont understand the landscape of mma, its crazy.

ONE is much more enjoyable.

It's fine if people like watching the different sports, but a lot of people are just MMA fans and only like to watch things live.

Personally I just don't watch it live and just skip anything that's not MMA, but that's not for everyone.

Maybe, but Dana didn't seem that across it saying he heard rumours.

I don't think the legal case would stop the UFC. It would be an easy way to sign a bunch of top fighters outside the UFC. The problem is there is a bunch of UFC rejects there too.

As much as I agree that yeah, some people only are into MMA and don't watch other Combat Sports, I have seen a number of people on here that generally only watch MMA not mind the KB and MT fights sprinkled in between simply because it breaks the monotony of boring back to back MMA fights that goes the distance. If you have a string of slow paced MMA fights and then like 2 faster paced KB or MT fights it prevents the card from feeling like a complete drag, unlike MMA only cards that can feel like they drag and drag cause the longer rounds and the slower pace if it isn't an exciting match up.
