If tables were turned you could say exactly the same thing about Jouban. They are both unranked fighters, but Perry has youth on his side.

Jouban is no joke, the guy is a seasoned striker. It was Perry's first real test, and although he came up short, he didn't get KTFO which is a good thing.
He will learn from this and come back better.

well hes 5'9 fighting guys 6 foot and taller and has a short reach with no kicking game. There is only so much he can do. SOme of the best fighters in history used size disadvantage to their benefit like Tyson, Fedor, DC...because they know how to time and explode to get inside. he doesnt. he needs to eat a ton of punches to get there and Jouban fought the perfect fight against a one dimensional power puncher. He has to learn how to explode from the outside to get inside, his timing is absolute shit.
