I think so.

I know Dustin said anothrr rematch with Conor is unlikely but that might be the only exception

He might retire if he wins. He has used the "R" word a few times now.
I could see him coming back to do another fight with Conor in BKFC if they managed to become free agents and there was a metric fuck ton of money offered.
I really don't think we'll ever see Conor fight in BKFC. He'll pretend like he wants to, to seem badass. But he has no reason to compete in such a brutal organization. We're more likely to see him in a regular boxing match before he retires.

Him beating Islam would do so much for his legacy. Probably make him top 15-20 all time great

I think he will, and then be lured back

I think he retires after the loss.
However, being retired lately just means returning after a year of inactivity.
Most fighters retirements are just extended breaks until someone calls with a good money offer.

From interviews I've heard from him, he seems like he's going all in this one. And no turning back.

I wouldn't be surprised if he retires if he loses, although I know he can still make a lot of money fighting big names in rematches.

But I think Poirier is more about accolades and championship belts than lucrative money making fights.

Good luck to him against Islam. I hope he wins.

Some fighters keep fighting even ten years after their prime is done regardless of how long their win streak is or how many surgeries they keep having.

On a side note, if Dustin tries that stupid closed guard guillotine trying to counter islam’s double, sherdoggers should egg him after the fight even if he wins.

I voted ‘Yes, he’s done.’ and would like to add that if this does indeed happen; Dustin Poirier and I were never friends.

I believe yes because I seriously doubt he wants to stick around if he's not getting a title shot every other fight and at this point he would have had 3 plus a BMF fight.

100% sure is he loses then he lays down his gkuves in the cage June 1st.

If he WINS then I hope he'll stick around for 1 title defense but not even sure he'll do that.
