Dana has spent years defending absolute freedom of speech for his fighters. Bryce Mitchell calling Hitler a good guy going to remain status quo or drop the hammer down.

What did he mean by that? Context? Parameters?
E.g., I'm against most of what Mao did, but I do I appreciate his driving the tyrannical Buddhist monks (not the Dali Lama per se) out of Tibet.

This was never the case with Dana.
It didn't used to be the case (Rape van and others) but more recently it has become his stance. When a reporter asked a question about "you give your fighters a long leash with what they can say" he snapped back about they have control over what they say and there is no leash nor should there be one

"I really do think before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy I'd go fishing with. He fought for his country. He wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out that were destroying his country and turning them all into gays. They were gaying out the kids. They were queering out the women. They were queering out the dudes."

Video? I keep saying the reporting but not the actual clip.

Dana isn't doing anything. The days of liking Hitler getting you in trouble are over. I don't think anything people say can get you in trouble especially ufc. They have a better chance of getting cut if they said they voted democrat. That would make them more angry then loving hitler.

Thanks. Weird, almost cavalier anti-antisemitism. Even weirder though, the early Nazi movement was LOADED with gays. Hasn't he ever heard of Ernst Röhm?!

In the UFC we think Hitler was a good dude while also celebrating Pride month with Pride-labelled merchandise!

Just don't do Rape Van jokes. Or quote Rape Van jokes, really. Then you get Miguel'd.

Dana, no, but I doubt Ari Emanuel will take the "greedy Jews destroying the country" line very kindly.

Man, I hate to see this. I've been somewhat of a defender of Bryce. I can't defend this.

Eeek.

There's freedom and speech and then there's fighting words (for those who do not understand that phrasing, I can give an academic exposition in accordance with conflict theory; and in particular Gultang's theory of violence).

Bryce is speaking fighting words. He should be censored/ stopped.

A lot of this going around lately- people who should be censored/ stopped. For some reason, it's getting a pass.

It reminds me of the Buddhist anecdote about three mules. One moves at the shadow of the whip, the second moves when the whip hits the flesh, and the third does not move until the whip tears through the flesh and hits bone.

This dumb generation needs the whip to hit the bone before they move. Give it time.
