Does Dan Hooker Pull This off Against Gaethje or Does His Run End?

As of right now there isn’t a single other upcoming fight that I’m more excited about than this one. Gaethje isn’t gonna think about a takedown and Hooker won’t be able to hold Gaethje down. This should be a pure stand up war until someone goes down. I favor Gaethje but this one’s close. I haven’t even checked to see who is favored, probably Justin slightly. Can Hooker make this four in a row?

Since his skid Hooker has been getting dropped and nearly finished in most his fight even though pulling out a good win streak. To me this is a 50/50 ight and comes down to whoever lands that 1 big shot first.

It absolutely is. Both guys have been through wars but the amount of punishment Gaethje has taken over his career (a lot of the time in fights he's WON) is insane. Like, all time Mt Rushmore level. Even going back to his WSOF days before the UFC he was in absolute bangers. And then he ate a million shots from Max last time out before being straight flatlined like that...there are some pretty big red flags.

No, doesn't mean he's washed or can't take a shot anymore but guys can and do fall off that cliff quickly sometimes. So it's very possible, and Hooker is quite obviously a capable guy.

And Justin talking about how he was done if he was KO'd anything near like that again means it's at least partly in his head that he's nearing the end and being brutally KO'd and retiring is a possibility for him.

Hooker today, is far more skilled as a Mixed Martial Artist, when compared to Gaethje.. I believe Hooker wins.

Man, 2 years ago I would have said Justin beats the crap out of Hooker...but now Hooker is stringing together some W's and he seems to have his Mojo back. On the other hand, Justin got Wrecked in his last fight. I don't think Dan was ever at Prime Gaethje's level, but will we see prime Gaethje? Some questions here that would make this a tough fight to bet on.
