Does anyone still take Conor seriously?

No not at all and I write this with all love and as one of his last (presumed) sane fans on this site.

Yes I'm a fan of a rape convict. But like Joe Biden said before pardoning his son:"you were born to be real, not perfect". Or something like that.
Nevermind Trump pardoning his relatives, people for money, including cop killers with hard drives full of child porn.

Yeah I wasnt taking shot at Joe there either. Just calling myself a dum dum for still liking Conor

This just isn't true. McGregor's name is now toxic in mainstream media.

This was before the rape case.

I disagree. If people think about Conor McGregor at all, they think he's a piece of shit.

The average person either does not give a shit, at all, or they think he's a scumbag rapist.

The last story about him that appeared in mainstream media is the rape case. Which he lost.
I searched Conor McGregor on Google and this popped up all over the 1st page.

The very last link before "show more results" was a story about Conor appealing his conviction and it's a pretty positive spin for Conor. Most of the page is either about his girl band or BKFC.

He has hundreds ofmillions, has several thriving businesses, why would he need to even be relivent?

People love videos of him being smashed and coked out of his mind.

MMA world is toxic, if you compare Connor and Puff Daddy, not much difference. Still Connor is popular and Puff career is over and nobody wants him anymore.
MMA fans just find new ways to sound like utter cave dwellers every day.

Id say his actions outside of the cage is more of a disappointment if anything. Can't see how anybody can like a guy like this but I'm sure he still has fans because most fans don't follow this sport or athletes enough to care.

This is an interesting point.

I have family members who have significant amounts of wealth. I don't talk to them; it's just what I hear through the grapevine and read in news articles.

I also know for sure that ALL of them are miserable human beings. Profoundly unhappy people. Why? Because every nickel they have came from the sweat of my grandfather. And whether they admit it to themselves or not, it's always in the backs of their minds.

There's no amount of wealth that can replace the feeling of actual accomplishment. There are things that money can't buy, and respect is definitely near the top of the list.

This is exactly why Conor is spiraling out of control. Spending money like some broke-ass redneck who won the lottery, ballooning up from all the drug and alcohol use, and constantly posting pictures of ostentatious wealth accumulation on social media. He's trying to recreate the high of being well-regarded, but it doesn't work.

If you think you've seen the worst of him, think again.

I legitimately think if he doesn't have a religious revival in his life (maybe re-discovering Catholicism), he'll be dead within 10 years.

Meh, I stopped caring when he punched the old dude in that pub.

That was my moment as well.

I never really liked McGregor because I got a lot of bully vibes from him (sorry, it's a sore topic for me due to getting the shit beaten out of me as a kid until I started weightlifting).

I can't think of a more fucked up thing to do than suckerpunching an elderly person. It's attempted murder in my book. The human brain can NOT take trauma at 55+ the same way it does at 25+.

Even Mike Tyson at his most cannibalistic wasn't THAT bad.

He's a gross clown, disgusting character and it seems like he's far from serious about returning.

Buuut I still think he can come back at any time and fight someone who's a decent stylistic matchup and have a chance at winning.

I can't help think if he he had fought Chandler - he would've had a chance.

And you can bet if he would do bareknuckle or something he would likely be a betting favourite against most UFC veterans.

I recently reported a Conor post on here as "Not UFC related" because it wasn't
