A good definition of a Boomer is a member of the last generation to have things better than their parents did. They were born into a booming US economy that was built supplying all materials for the Allies in WWII. When they switched to a consumer economy, those were happy times. Later, times not so good.

I actually think kids take more advanced classes earlier these days then my generation did. It just seems to be the cool thing to pretend every generation is getting dumber. There is a lot of bs participation awards that I think are soft, but I am sure the next generation will be just fine. Just like the one before them and the one before them

I'm guessing whats actually happening is probably that education is becoming more stratified by class, things like grade inflation being used to cover the increasing gulf in the quality being offered based on how wealthy the area is.

Millennials Are the first bitch generation. Basically, kids that graduated HS after around 2000 are sorta pussies. That's when everything changed.

I would say moreso than Gen X was the generation Bro, reacted against less focus on masulinity from the 60's to the 80's, gave rise to Grunge and Britpop and general the bro/bloke culture of the 90's.

These seem to be used more as generic terms that refer someone you think is old and out of touch (boomer) or young and spoiled (millenial). 9/10 times the person is technically either an older Xer or Gen Z.

Tbh, having a shifting definition kinda works if we're referring to attitudes.

For example, I'm on the cusp of X and millenial, and I'm noticing a lot of people around my age are just effortlessly sliding into that boomer mentality of believing in an imaginary point in time after which only garbage humans were born.

Basically, ever since WWII, men have been getting stronger until the latest generation.
