Does anyone here think Woodley will pull the upset?

I think it's worth a quick bet.

He hits hard and is a good wrestler. Both him and Robbie have a bad habit of taking rounds off though, so it could be a weird one.

He's got wicked power and wrestling. A lot of people are counting him out.

I still favour Robbie but I'm interested to see Woodley's game plan.

I would throw a loose nickel on it. The odds are probably fantastic.

If Robbie gases he can steal a decision.

I hope Lawler wins so we can see the Wonderboy match up.

I think it will depend more on his cardio than on his KO power. I have never seen anything like the Lawler/Condit fight. Condit won. Lawler is a tough nut to crack but I think it's outpacing him that puts someone in the position to win. I don't know Woodley's gas tank but if it's considerable he has a good chance.

Woodley can be dangerous and could get the upset. He has the skillset & it could happen, but damn, its Robbie frikkin Lawler we talking about here...

The X factor here is Woodley's training and game plan.

Everyone knows what Robbie does, but we don't know how Woodley will perform.

He could either perform like Hendricks, looking like shit, or more like Bisping, suddenly hitting harder than before.

could happen striking as he hits hard but if ind that unlikely - if he implements a wrestling gameplan successfully, that might be his best bet - wont be easy either, but i think trading w lawler isnt smart either - mixing it up and getting top control a few times in the fight is prob key for his victory - if he just knocks out robbie, that could always happen but seems like a stupid gameplan

Not a big fan of Woodley but still a fan. I'd like to see him win but it has to either be on the 1st or 2nd. But Lawler is hard to finish. Woodley fades in the 3rd, 4th & 5th.

Bisping knocked rockhold out. Of course woodley can win

Tyron isn't as good of a boxer as Robbie, Bisping is a much better boxer than Luke.

Tyron has power but that means a lot less than boxing skills. Angles, speed, precision and technique are much more important to knocking someone out than power is.

Normally i been thinking not a chance ...but miocic bisping an alvarez have me thinking dont count out woodly like i did those other 3

I see it like RDA vs Alvarez, despite the fact that Woodley is not as complete as Alvarez.

RDA has monstrous chin just like Robbie, and look what happened.

I'm very concerned with the first two rounds of the fight, 'cause I would hate seeing another undeserving underdog as the champ, and one that hadn't fight actively.

Maia had next title shot on LOCK. Wonderbread is a Johnny come lately to WW.

Thompson has a 7 fight win streak while Maia has 5. Wonderboy deserves the title shot the most right now.

Yea he definitely has a chance to. I think he should be the underdog but he's a hard hitter.

I doubt that he'll be able to hold Lawler down, though, and theres no way that his gas tank will hold up for 5 rounds at Lawler's pace, so if he does win I think it'll have to be by finish. I'd say it's not the most likely outcome but it's possible....
