Does anyone here think Woodley will pull the upset?

I got all of those aswell and im one hunna on Lawler so stalemate. Woodley is like the perfect opponent for Robbie, an orthodox power puncher with little combination work and good wrestling but fades in the later rounds. Lawler will come out for a big shot early and the first opportunity he gets, he will earn Woodleys respect. Woodley May be able to hump Lawler for a bit, but not for long. Dude lifted Rory MacDonald from bottom position and slammed him to reverse position. Woodley is in for a very rude awakening when he can't connect the right hand and Lawler is in his face dictating the engagements. Woodley will not be entering the Championship rounds or be in a condition for a post fight interview.
Robbie has been in a lot of wars lately. Woodley will TKO Lawler.

Very possible. Tyron is strong, younger, and is probably well trained.

He has but people really underestimate his defense. He moves with punches, rolls them off the shoulder, slides them off the forearm. He eats a lot less punches than fightmetric would tell you. Robbie out-toughens smart guys and he out-smarts tough guys. His striking will be clinical in dismantling Woodley, land harder shots and walk out with the W. Early rounds he will look to exchange straight punches and look for counters with TDD ready and once Woodley is slowing down the sankaku-geri kicks will start to smash Woodleys Body up and he will get overwhelmed on the feet and finished, before the third ends.

I'm rooting for Robbie. But I see a Dos Anjos - Alvarez type only with Robbie ending on the floor. Unfortunately.

We will see. I dont think Woodley cracks the top 10 of Lawlers toughest opponents and i also dont think he's the one to crack Lawlers chin. But its happening, and it could be the day.

The guy who hasnt fought in a year and a half cause he is a pussy and looked like a pure gatekeeper in his last fight ? Pull an upset against the Prince of Pain Hobbie?

I haven't watched his fights lately, so I don't know how he is performing after USADA and IV ban.

i don't think he has fought since USADA started testing in the UFC, although he was scheduled to fight Hendricks post-USADA and that wasn't his fault that Hendricks ate too much deer meat or whatever bullshit excuse he used

Tyron is a weird guy because he either blitzes guys in 30 seconds or he chokes and has a boring wall and stall decision loss in his big fights. I want to see Robbie knock him the fuck out because Tyron doesn't deserve a title shot at all, but the way this year has gone, Tyron is going to win the belt just like all the other undeserving underdogs of 2016

I'm just picking the underdog in every Main Event from here on out.

Wouldn't be THAT much of an upset to be honest. But I'd hate for Woodley to be the champ, seeing as he's boring as fuck.
It's all about who he's fighting. If he fights Wonderboy next then that's going to be a good entertaining fight. Also, even if he wins this fight his title reign isn't likely to be too long.

Its only unbeatable champs who lose their belts. Lawler looks quiet beatable........he is safe.

Lawler didn't exactly look unbeatable lately and Woodley has KO power as well as wrestling.
I think if his performance is influenced by USADA will be the biggest factor.
Just look at Hendricks.

I have a little part of me that thinks maybe this is the one where all those wars catch up to him.

But, I still favor Robbie in this fight.

Agreed. And considering how great Wonderboy looked against Hendricks I'm hopeful that he can avoid being taken down and LnP'd on by Woodley as well.

No I don't see it happening. if it did then God help us, it won't be fun viewing
