I scored it for Gane up till the stoppage, but both had some effective striking and had hit each other a comparable number of times. Aspinall could of stolen the round before the end for sure. Especially since Gane started out strong, but Aspinall was doing better as the round went on iirc.

I STRONGLY disagree I saw the fight steadily snowballing in favor of gane the longer it went on, I think Aspinall was getting very sloppy and desperate by the end of the round. I actually think he may have been an exchange or two from getting hurt badly. very mesurable speed and striking difference was begining to show more and more as the round went on

meh... I think the scared thing is just talk. but I think the reality is beating tom doesn't change jones standing on this earth, or at HW really. Beating gane didn't and he's a better more proven fighter than tom. If the gane win can be discredit, the tom win WILL be too. for jones, Sergei pavlovich, gane, aspinall, volkov, blaydes, all these wins would do the same for his legacy.(a variable amount, based mostly on that persons "feelings" about jones) Amongst these names tom is not really special, or atleast, he hasn't proven to be yet.
