Media Does anybody really get crossover star vibes from O'Malley?

I still don't understand why he's so hated around here. Is it the hair? The tats? The boy can scrap and is chill 100% of the time. Never even heard him raise his voice aggressively.

I think the way he looks and dresses, in addition to him being in an open relationship and talking about it publicly, kind of makes him an embodiment of "everything that's wrong with society/those damn kids these days" to all the boomers. He's not a real man and all that shit.

That, and people also didn't like the way he conducted himself after getting beaten by Chito. He tried the Chael route of pretending to still be undefeated and doubling down on it, but without any of the charisma of Chael.
 
He has some crossover appeal but hes never going to be a huge 1m+ draw type star. The UFC doesnt have any of those full time right now.

He could potentially learn to be more charismatic and deal with the pressure of being on the mic.
He needs to keep winning for that to matter.

Yeah it’s weird that at press conferences he looks uncomfortable and not witty, but on podcasts or making his own little videos he’s kinda funny.

he had one good moment on the mic where he was talking about this can fighter he fought that was saying "you tired yet pussy" when they were fighting. O malley said "kinda" during the fight. But just kept beating his ass.

But idk it's probably going to have to be strictly on fighting performances because he's usually not good on the mic. But he can fight.

Yes. Yes, he does.

I'm sure 12 year olds think he's cool AF, with the idiotic clown hair, weed smoking and video games playing, but I don't think they have the money to buy PPV's and other UFC merchandise.

Seen him in some ThatWasEpic videos. Too much of the "oh hey, did you hear who the new UFC champ was?".....bro. I want you to seem likeable, but stop fishing.
