My mom had 3 sisters who smoked ,she’s the only one alive now and looks at least 20 years younger then her real age . My fathers still alive my parents both quit in their 20”s ,my fathers dad passed in his 70”s and he’s still alive at 85 still competes in dancing as well despite having numerous stents in him . Smoking definitely robs one of quality of life down the stretch .Great move to have stopped. That’s a solid investment in your health.
I grew up when people smoked everywhere. Airplanes with dirty ashtrays seem such an impossible thing now, but I remember having to choose smoking or non smoking when booking tickets.
My mother in law used to smoke a pack of day inside her house. Whenever we’d go visit we’d wash all our clothes as soon as we got back to our place. Disgusting.
My brother still smokes and is overweight fir his size so he’s going to be checking out unfortunately way bf I plan .
