I've never met him. He's never done anything horrible or heroic from a humanitarian standpoint as far as I know. He's just a regular guy who happens to be a great fighter. I have zero emotions invested in him. Indifferent, my indifference being exacerbated by his personality being pretty blah, at least what he projects publicly, which is all that I know of course.
I get a bit personally invested in fighters who wear their hearts on their sleeve at times, who expose their inner selves, like a Sean Strickland and most recently Paolo Costa. Kamaru is the typical strong and stoic alpha who never reveals anything that might be perceived as weakness.
Enjoy watching him fight though, being a big MMA fan.
