I'm fine wither way, but it's awful when the person sitting next to you overdid it with the damn butter

Nah. I'm ghetto. I bring my own snacks.

We eat well.

Drinks too.

Good chance we will be opening a side door and letting people in too.

Can't take folks like me anywhere. {<shrug}

Pro tips:

They never check strollers or kids clothes and you can get at least 6 airline bottles in the foam part of a shoulder sling.

I don't think that buttered popcorn is a thing in the UK.

Either salty, sweet or both.

I prefer sweet.

I wouldn't have buttered popcorn either.

It’s all good
Buttered or no butter, or any other variety

I like the extra buttered popcorn for when I need to throw stuff at the guy who’s talking through the movie

When I was kid, my group of friends got into a big brawl one time with some other kids who were throwing popcorn at us in the theatre
They couldn’t andle our riddum

Movie popcorn load it up. At home, it's just the kernels cooked on the stove with a little oil and some salt which is my fav version of popcorn.

If any theaters actually used real butter anymore, insteado of that flaoviring bullshit my vote might change

At our theaters, you have to pay for real butter, or you can use the oil based substitute for free. The theater nickels and dimes you for everything these days - when I was a teenager, I used to love the seasoning powder (ketchup, bbq etc.) that you could put on your popcorn - they would be in big shakers along with napkins and straws for free. Now they are a $1.50 for a tiny packet.

Little or no butter but I eat my popcorn with jalapeños and nacho cheese. I also BYOB when I go to the theater

Don't tend to eat popcorn.

Buy a huge coke there and smuggle in chocolate or sweets/ candy.
