Do You Like Mark Wahlberg?

I laughed at the teddy bear movie and cop sidekick movie.

He's alright, unless I ever see him out of character. Then I want to kick him in the little jimmy.

He's pretty funny in every comedy I've seen him in. He was also super creepy in that one where he plays the stalker boyfriend.

Yeah I like him generally speaking...he'll still always be Marky Mark to me...c'mon, c'mon...feel it , feel it...

He has great movies and is fine. Love most everything he is in. He does have some shit movies tho.

Boogie
departed
basketball diaries
fighter
ted
pain n gain
daddys home
other guys
we own the night
fear

I've always liked him. He's not the greatest actor but very serviceable. I'm shocked the liberal media have given him a pass for his early life behavior.

If I'm ever on a plane and it gets hijacked I hope he's on the same plane because we all know how it would go down if he's on it.

As long as the hijacker is an elderly asian man of course.
Oh man that shoop thread was fuckin awesome. I wonder if it's still here. Will try to find it and report back.

Edit: found it! Alot of dead pics cause of photobucket but there's still a few good ones. So sad, it was such an awesome thread.

He's had a lot of films i like. The other guys, the departed, ted, invincible, shooter, etc. If anything the guy is underrated because he's chose some terrible films.

When given the right role he shines. When he is miscast he is horrific. He was great in
The Fighter
The Departed
Ted
Shooter
Rockstar

He was terrible in:
The Happening
The Perfect Storm
Planet of The Apes

I love Boogie Nights so I've always liked him.

I do have issue with him getting all religious and saying he regrets making Boogie Nights and that he hopes God likes movies and is forgiving.

Maybe he should be focused on being forgiven for blinding a poor Asian dude in one eye because he was "in the wrong neighborhood".

Now, he's one of those actors who's hired to play himself in every role he takes.

No range whatsoever.

My thoughts exactly. He needs to play the dumb guy, action hero etc. Then he can shine. Him playing something like an astronaut? No thanks.

He prevents another 9/11 with every flight he takes just by being there, of course I love Mark Wahlberg. The man is a hero.
