Do You Like Mark Wahlberg?

He's a serviceable actor. His range is limited, but he usually plays the character to a tee.

He cracked me up in The Other Guys, when he would yell inappropriately out of nowhere. Like when he found his girl in that dance studio, and she's like "i'm dancing here" and he's like "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!!!??" lol idk why but that always makes me laugh :D

He’s good but has been in a ton of shitty movies over the years.

In my <3 he's always going to be Dirk Diggler

One thing I know for sure, 9-11 wouldn’t have happened on his watch.

I like him. Four Brothers is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

yes i do.

@Rex Kwon Do likes mark wahlberg too and thinks he is incredibly talented as an actor.

He is in major debt, so he is in 10 movies a year now.

Haha hilarious. The Other Guys is very funny top to bottom. To this day when I hear There Goes My Hero on the radio, I can only think of The Rock and Sam Jackson jumping. Aim for the bushes.

I also enjoyed his delivery in two scenes in Ted...one where Ribisi and his son first approach him about buying Ted and he crouches down to the kids level and says something to the effect of “He’s not just a bear. He’s my best friend. I’ve know him a real long time and I could never give him to somebody.” And the kid angrily says “Stand up straight when you’re talking to me!”

Wahlberg just like backs off and very confusedly and irritadedly asks, “why the fuck would he say that?”

And also when Kunis drops the c bomb when referring to Teds girlfriend and Wahlberg gets so offended. “That word! It’s so sharp. It cuts like glass.”

Nicolas Cage is what you ment to say.

I just wish he was still cast in mainstream, non straight to dvd movies. Last legitimately solid movie I can think of him being in was Snowden and it was a glorified cameo.

The guy is a good actor- both when he plays things straight or when he goes way over the top- it’s entertaining.

I feel like he's a good actor but his talents are wasted on crappy movies. At his best he can do good work in both comedy and dramas but he chooses to star in terrible movies where he is stuck playing Mark Wahlberg.

Is this a troll thread? Quite the opposite, of the good movies he is in, he is never the one that carried it.

Lol Wahlberg was funny talking about that too. "There wasn't even an awning or anything. Just jump off a 5 story building."
