Haahah no, they don't wear their patches in the gym. But they put them on when they ride out after they are done.

A few of them are huge roid users and make sure they grunt with every rep - kind of weird to hear someone yell while doing calf raises but whatever.
 
Also, soa is a horrible, horrible show. It's All My Children for wannabe tough guys.

I pulled a guy over once when I was a cop. dude was fucking terrifying in his mannerisms and calm demeanor. something about him was just off. you ever meet a person who you felt kinda, "let" you dictate the conversation or how things went but you knew they could change the tide if they wanted too? that was this guy. this guy just unnerved me. he was respectful and never did anything to make me question his intentions but again, there was something terrifying about him. he was riding an old custom 80s Harley and was wearing a cut but had nothing other than minor shit on his record. that was odd as well.

Yepppp, the calm collected ones are the ones you should be afraid of not the loud obnoxious types.

If you spend some time around the world you see that most are the former. No actual outlaw club wants loud mouths bringing unnecessary attention. Id have to imagine most criminal enterprises are that way though.

Look up Los Zetas. They started out as Mexican Special Forces that decided to desert and work as muscle for the Gulf Cartel. Most of the originals are dead or in prison now but for a while there they were a shining example of what a trained, motivated force can do against the loco run of the mill gangsters you speak of.

Not to mention that its extremely common for members to be ex military.

True, but you also have to recognize these clubs like Hells Angels, Mongols, Bandidos are in the US and other developed countries for the most part. They have to operate within the law to some extent as they have a real government on their back. The Cartels operate in third world countries where the rule of law is non existent.

The 1% gangs are pretty tough men and I as sure as hell would not try to start any trouble with them.
 
Motorcycle gangs have always been glorified for some reason, especially since SOA became a hit. Makes me sick. Drug addicts, drunks, violent trash 99% of the time.

Neither would I. Mainly because they will fight in packs. The Angels actually have a written rule that states, "When an Angel punches a non-Angel, all other Angels will participate."

One on one? Not so much. A lot of them are into serious alcohol and drug abuse, which takes it's toll. But with a group of their scumbag buddies, and plenty of weapons, yeah they are dangerous.
 
Nope. Why would I like criminals.... especially ones that look like they have poor hygiene habits. Seriously... they all look like they need a shower.

People who deserve to be held in high regard are those who put themselves in harms way or make sacrifice of themselves in the protection/ benefit of others (kids especially). bikers are just all ego
