In regards to the clean criminal records, some MCs - Hells Angels - have branched off into white collar jobs that require a clear background. And they start doing shady business in real estate, lending, financial securities, etc. Difficult to get in those fields (if at all) with a criminal record.
Back in 2006 or 2007 there was a case here in San Diego that involved a bunch of refinance loans that had bogus payouts, fraudulent appraisals. There were alleged ties to Hells Angels, Iirc the case didn't go to trial.

So they aren't really clean then? That's what I was wondering about. I get that they all have differing criminal backgrounds, but I always figured the point of being a 1%er was to be shady in one way or another.

I saw in person my first group of true "outlaw bikers" about 8 months ago. I was driving with my daughter and saw a huge group of bikers all squashed together into one or two lanes...they were the notorious "Outlaws" from Florida. In the middle of the whole circle was one lone biker who was wearing a back patch that said "Outlaws - Prospect" For some reason my immediate reaction was that I felt sorry for him and he seemed like a victim, but I can't tell you exactly why I felt that emotion for him.

All these guys made the SOA cast look like Sesame Street and it was quite a sight to see. None of them looked to the sides and they were all scowling and looked straight ahead at the stop light.

I see a few of them(Bandios) out here from time to time and most of the time I pay them no mind but they always do have that Hard Stare going on. They shot up a applebees here a few months ago and I did see two of them jump on another biker in the middle of a grocery store a few yrs ago, so they do have that they will throw do anywhere/anytime attitude.

The store fight was crazy. I seen them walk by as I was heading to the check out and then heard a loud crash, turned to see them just whaling on some biker in the middle of the store, guy hit the floor and took a couple of boots to the face and then they ran off but to see grown men throwing down in a store full of moms and kids in the middle of the day is something crazy to see.They just didn't care about anything at min and took it that guy.

I knew this OG Hells Angel cat back in the day. Dude had a grim reaper on one forearm and a death bringer on the other. Didnt want to ask what his job was for em lol. Dude used to tell me some of their old stories. How they would fly from washington to texas on a regular basis blatantly snorting coke and meth in first class. I've only seen a true 1%er once. He blew past me going about 100 on an interstate. Can't remember what it was now but I recognized the patch from Gangland lol. He looked rough and his bike seemed like it'd been rode around the world twice.

I just finished that book above. Great book. I also got No Angel, and another one about the Vagos MC. Yeah outlaw bikers are scum. Gang rapes, kidnapping, murder, random beatings, drugs, hate crimes, arson, stabbings. They are like pack dogs. Between those three books, at least 20 victims have been curb stomped to death.
