I read a book years ago about the Hells Angels. The authors looked at the various chapters in America, Canada and Europe. They wrote about a raid by a Dutch police SWAT team on an Angels clubhouse. One of the Bikers was stupid enough to throw a punch at one of SWAT cops, who smashed him in the face with his rifle butt, shattering his nose.

The SWAT cop told the authors,

"I love arresting Bikers; they're too dumb to comply, and too fat to fight.":icon_twis

Nah. Run of the mill criminals, junkies and bullies that like to wrap up their antisocial behavior in some bullshit "brotherhood, honor and freedom" type narrative.

Knew a couple of low level guys like this, couldn't have a single conversation without it steering towards the topics of sex, drugs or violence within a few minutes. Both seemed emotionally and intellectually stunted. Both would probably murder each other if the money was right, too. Guys that constantly ramble on about honor and brotherhood are generally the least honorable and most treacherous dudes you'll find.

And for the record, we're talking about OUTLAW BIKERS like TS stated. I don't have a problem with bikers in general, other than the obnoxious "look at me" super loud chopper dudes.

Over the past 12 years or so here in San Diego dozens of Hells Angels have been arrested, tried and convicted on various felony charges (mainly drug & racketeering charges). Clubhouses shut down.

Yeah, as far as Organised Crimes goes, Outlaw MC's are strictly second tier. Russian Mob or Mexican Cartels would walk through them. Most of the Russians have military training, including Spetnaz, KGB etc. The Mexicans are just loco. Shoot outs? Cartels cut people's heads off with chainsaws and leave decapitated corpses hanging from a bridge just to make a statement.

I wish they'd suddenly start a war with all the other street gangs and the law would simply step aside and let all the thugs take care of each other. The downside of that would be that there would be plenty of collateral damage to uninvolved people and their property.

this reminds me of when i really upset a member here a couple years back when i said wearing s.o.a. Gear to try to look badass was hilarious. This of course was at the height of the show. He was pretty angry.

Sons of Anarchy has glorified outlaw clubs. Most people would shit themselves encountering what actually surrounds them.

That said, not every outlaw club member is a murdering drug selling criminal either.

A bunch of them have taking a liking to the gym I go to. They are very loud and some are obnoxious. They scared away all the attractive females and quiet family members and now push Roids to everyone.

But they don't bug me and I don't bug them; 3 of them are actually super nice..especially when you talk engines with them.

I also notice they are super friendly towards dogs.

Do they work out in their vests?

This fat ginge neckbeard of an outlaw biker goes to my gym complete with his vest, fingertipless gloves, cut off black shorts and leather boots. He looks so ridiculous and I bet you he thinks he commands the respect of everyone there. Dude also has no respect for gym rules and just does whatever he wants while leaving a mess behind. I'd be willing to bet most guys there could whoop his ass easily if his "brotherhood" wasn't around.
