Can't see at all what you and @DM1982 are talking about, Beckinsale is gorgeous. She's has a less curvy figure but still has a womanly body and her face is so pretty.

I guess to be fair she probably has more appeal in the US through the Underworld movies which were fairly big here in their time. So even though she's from the UK it doesn't seem she has made much of a splash in English media the way she has in Hollywood more generally.
