If I only have a 5 bill, and i come accross two guys: one with a standard sign, and one that has a sign looks like time was put into it (different colors, message delivery, sign integrity etc.), I give the 5 to second guy.

I don't respect someone that's so lazy that they would rather sit out on a street corner begging for quarters then actually cleaning themselves up and getting a job. If you can get yourself sober long enough to get yourself into a shelter then at the very least a minimal wage job then after you get somewhat back on your feet then get a slightly better job until you can afford your own place. There is no free lunch in this world just because you made your life a trainwreck to where you're totally unwilling to build yourself back up from the bottom.

Same I used to when I was much younger now I don't give shit. I once saw a guy asking for money cause he needed food. I told him I didn't have any cash as I threw a bunch of rolled up money for the club in my pocket. My friend gives him $5. We head to the next street over and I see the same guy asking more people for money saying the exact same thing. He looks over see's me cracks a smile knowing that he just got caught and starts walking across the street to avoid us. I was the only one who saw him but I didn't say shit.

My neighbor does this shit. He lives in a very nice home but every Friday he busts out a wheelchair (he can walk) and throws it in his truck and drives up to highway and panhandles as a crippled Vietnam Vet. This guy is a piece of work.

I don't give these guys nothing since I honestly don't know who is really homeless anymore.

It is not that easy at all, my wife is a MSW at an acute psych hospital. Once youre down its inanely hard even for non-addicts to get back on their feet

Yes i give money to then if they make me laugh. Because being a comedian is an honest trade.

I once saw a guy with a hand painted shirt that said "that's MR. Bum to you" and then when he turned around the back said "where's Mrs. Bum?"

Another time this one guy has a sign that said "world's greatest wino" and he would say things like, "world's greatest wino here, help me get drunk"

And yes, i gave these people money.
