Do you find tattooed opponents intimidating?

I lol'd at this thread...

Anyway, I was maybe intimidated by tattooed guys at my gym my first couple days, but soon realized they are just another human.
 
I remember in my first match of my first BJJ tournament, the guy I faced had a short mohawk, and started a staredown with me as the ref talked about the rules etc. Aside from being mildly uncomfortable about having a guy a little close to me starring into my eyes, it didnt make much of adifference. As long as you focus on your skills/gameplan, appearances dont matter

It's weird, but I do best when I am intimidated. Best way to beat me, is to look all sickly and weak, then I'll be sure to lose then.
 
Depends on the tattoo.

For example, I would be wary of rolling with the gentleman who sports this number:

I have two half sleeves that come up around my chest/shoulders/back and I get more positive comments on them than I do wary looks.
 
Tattoos make you look unique and interesting.
