Do you feel bad for Henry Cejudo?

No, I don't. No one is forcing him to be a douchebag. He chooses to act like one. Choosing to be a fake douchebag is a choice that an actual douchebag would make.

Man if you only followed Henry since the begining. He literally said nothing at the start of his mma career and early UFC fights. He did no media , talked smacked , nothing. Just competed. However, his coach knew that the smaller divisions were not getting much attention and might get cut.

He told Henry that you need to talk more to sell more . Simple as that. Henry started to and the rest is history. Now you can get him off camera .

He put on a great showing given age and the long hiatus.

I empathize though, as a former competitor myself, nothing hurts more than a loss, regardless of how it happens.

I was a real cunt when I lost tbh.
I would have to sit in my room for a couple of days and go over the match a hundred times in my head before I'd be ok to be around people again.

OCD before OCD maybe lol.

We all have opinions. We're all more than welcome to post them here, whether we agree or not. I fail to see the issue he has.

If these guys were on LiveLeak they'd honestly never say anything about the mods here.
At least I can see and talk to you, if there's an issue I know that I can ask you guys a question.

LiveLeak they were invisible, and most were real douchebags.
If you had an issue good luck asking anyone.
They don't understand how good they have it here tbh.

Just my 2 cents ftw sir.

No
Dj was undeserved
Tj was half dead to make flw
Bw belt was vacant and the guy he beat fell off the face of the earth afterwards, and he whooped Henry for the first part still
Then Cruz was a bad stoppage in a fight where Cruz was starting to turn it on
Cejudo always was elite, but I never thought he was that next level that DJ, Cruz, aldo ect are at.
I had no idea who would win between him and sterling because I also think sterling isn't on that level. I think volk butchers sterling if he gets that fight. I also think merab beats him, as well as o malley potentially.
Tldr no, his luck finally ran out

Na , he’s going to be alright, he’s got a list of accomplishments most can only dream of

NOPE.

No one told him to retire and waste 3 years of his prime, he took that time for nothing thinking he had leverage. If triple cringe took that time to form a family ok, that's up to him but he should have thought the possilibities of his decision if nothing went as planned.

No.

Hes a bitter munchkin who puts out bad karma.

His ego needs eat the loss and adjust

And the promotional material painted Cejudo like he was God's gift to mma. They wanted Cejudo to win because he'll happily do press conferences and put on a show. And he would have put on an entertaining enough fight with O'Malley that it wouldn't have hurt his stock with his fan base.

I dunno bro, I feel they wanted to legitimize FunkMaster and beating Cejudo would solidify his street cred and get all eyes on him and rainbow hair, which in turn, brings in younger viewers.

No, his 135 run was due to a fortunate series of layups. TJ popped and he got a 135 shot off of Marlon Moares who went 1-7 after Cejudo, his TKO win over Cruz was an early stoppage. I don't feel bad for the guy who tries to hold the best and division hostage by "retiring" after his fight and stating "if the price is right I'll stay or if you give me a 145 title shot". Fuck that. Henry played himself. What gives him the mindset to think that he should only fight for titles now or bust? He deluded himself into thinking he was this great draw. He can go fight Holloway for a 145 #1 contender matchup if he really wants to fight Volk so badly. Earn it

Yes because he didn't get the payday(s) a champ of his caliber deserves

Not at all.

I have a huge dislike for Cejudo not the fighter, but the persona. It’s incomprehensible to me why you would try so hard to be someone you’re not, especially after accomplishing so much in life. Fake people are a major turn-off for me and Henry does his utmost.

he didn't have far to fall.

honestly though he put on a good performance.

like bisping i think he grows on people over time. also he isn't as obnoxious as he was before, and bisping grew up a lot before he was accepted by fans.

He put up a good fight, lost a step or two, otherwise he lost to a split, no big deal.
