Do you fanboy/girl?

He was a diamond and supposed to be fighting in London, got a horrendous ham string but still showed up for a Q&A and party.
That's cool 😎.
I met Kimo at a supermarket once and he was alright. I also saw Luke Rockhold at a Whole Foods and Kenny Florian instructing a BJJ class LOL

You;ve been around a bit, haha. Luke trained near where I lived in San Jose with Cain and Cormier for AKA.

Why not ask people you dont know if they like going to the bathroom too?

Not really. I don't think I've ever asked anyone for an autograph, picture etc, even when I was young. I've said hello and had conversations with famous people I admire, but that's about it. It wouldn't change much if they never happened.

Why would anyone do that? What interest do you have with Sherdog toilet habits? Do they differ from the relationship forums you frequent after getting banned here?

I can't say it changed my life but hanging out with Bradley Cooper and getting plastered with him for a weekend at an Alias convention before he was mega Bradley Cooper was pretty good fun. We liked the show, we weren't weirdos, he and the other two actors David Anders and Melissa George were drinking buddies for the weekend. David liked that I was a smoker so gravitated towards me to get away from the weirdos.

That's cool. It's nice when it happens organically.

I used to do the VIP stuff at Download every year so I've met a ton of metal idols but this just got me because I was a child when I had such a thing for Wonderstuff. I think the only metal idol I've met as an adult I liked as a child was Nikki Sixx and I wasn't a gigantic Crue fan as a kid.
Hell yeah that's cool. But yeah it's definitely an age thing to obsess over a band. I was never big on Crue either. My first cassette tape was Poison though when I was like 5. Never liked hair metal though.

I put my jukebox on most weekends and last Sunday put on The Woderstuff's HUP which my bestie from school and I were crazy about, I tagged her in with a pic. The lead singer liked it and I was 14 years old again singing our hearts out listening to it on her bed.

The fact he knows a single second of our lives and how much we adored them in our teens was near on meltdown mode. Probably more if Trent and Bono but I've been listening to so much live Wonderstuff...stuff I was dead chuffed.

I think the only thing I got was a PM from Draiman from Disturbed and Brock from 36 Crazyfists to perk me up.

/cue old as dirt with shit taste in music and I never go on social media bollocks with Dear Diary.
Funny thing you mention Dramian. I participated in one of those MTV chats back in the day with him and he answered my question. That was pretty cool for a young teen. I finally saw Disturbed live back in April.

Not really, I have met many famous musicians, if you fangirl over then you are just going to make things awkward and weird for the both of you. Just be genuine talk to them like you would any other person and you will go much further than kissing ass.

I have met a few where I got flustered and made a fool of myself, I met Dave Mustaine and the other members of Megadeth on of the gigantour tours when Into Eternity was on the bill. I joked around in an Alberta accent and he didn't find that funny at all.

Devin Townsend is another one, not the most famous guy but I asked him a bunch of hypothetical questions about his former band which seemed to annoy him tremendously.

I ran into GSP many years ago at my gym. It was weird because it was during non class times in the locker room. We had a convo about how the black girl working at the front desk was hot.

My homie at the gym had a funny interaction with him. GSP apparently told him he could tell what type of Asian he is.

Guy's a connoisseur.

I can't find for the life of me the pool photos with asian women.

I got to sit in and play with Mr. Satan aka Sterling Magee and his band in Gulfport FL about 15 years ago. He was in his 70's at that point and lived in a nursing home but he could still play and sing his ass off. He was an old blues legend most known for being a street performer in Harlem and he was featured in U2's Rattle and Hum doc. He's actually the only non U2 member who has writing credits on any of their songs. He also used to be a session player in the 60's/70's and played with a ton of heavyweights in the industry like Little Richard, James Brown and George Benson. It was pretty humbling but I managed to keep my shit together.

Living in NYC you see celebs all the time. The cool NYer thing to do is to ignore them and let them be. There were two times in my life I had to say hello and had a fanboy moment. Eddie Vedder and Ed Norton were at a bar after an Eddie solo show. Me and a buddy bullshitted with them for a while. CJ Ramone was there too. Awesome guys. And I met Stephen King in Maine and told him he made my life so much better. I only had a moment with him, but would have loved to ask him a ton of questions lol.

I've got to interview Fedor, and took a seminar with Khabib.

I still can scarcely believe I managed to do these things.

So, yes. Yes I do. In the moment I kept it cool, but whenever I remember I did that shit, it makes me immensley pleased with myself, and of course increased my rampant fanboy esteem of those guys, exponentially.

I saw Elijah Wood at a restaurant in NYC. I locked eyes with Frodo before immediatley averting them out of respect.
