Do you ever stop to appreciate garlic?

China bleaches their garlic to make them look better. Say no to the cheap garlic and to the garlic with no country of origin listed, it's from there. My grocery store has Spain garlic that's nice and fat. Also Canadian garlic, but it's often a little anemic.

Stop to appreciate? I never stop appreciating! I'm so team garlic I'm basically a garlic at this point...

I appreciate them every time I saute some with thinly sliced onions

I use a navage to do a saline nasal rinse with garlic infused water when I feel a cold coming on. I crush a clove of garlic and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then I put the garlic in a mesh strainer over a cup and pour 8oz of warm distilled water over it. Burns like hell in the back of my skull for a few seconds but it's worked everytime so far.

Did you know the US alone produces 400 million pounds of garlic annually? Probably not, because all you think about is yourself!

The top 5 garlic-producing countries per year:
1. China - 21,000,000 tons
2. India - 3,200,000 tons
3. Bangladesh - 525,000 tons
4. Egypt - 395,000 tons
5. Spain - 280,000 tons

Look at that garlic production!

- Korean
- Japanese
- Mediterranean (Greek, Lebanese, Turkish)

Its a great spice.

Its better to not get your garlic from China. They bleach them.

Roast whole garlic and steaks are a very winning combination that not enough people talk about.
Garlic roasted with olive oil & salt is incredible, each clove is a buttery treat!

a company I worked at one needed to order some garlic oil. That was some potent stuff that would ruin your week if it stilled on you.

Did enjoy reading about how a cancer patient claimed he was able to kill of his cancer stem cells by eating raw garlic. Wouldn't be much fun eating that way i can imagine but better than the alternative I suppose.

I use garlic for pretty much every time I cook. It's a red flag if a chick doesn't like garlic.

@Woldog please answer for Australia's A-fucking-bysmal lack of garlic production. I have half a mind to go there and punch you in your garlic-hating face, but the spiders there are as big as cars and vegemite tastes like farts. How are you doing?
