There are plenty of actors of ever race and ethnicity. Just keep it authentic. It's easy to do.

Looking back, some examples of really really BAD casting

That hasn't happened in like 20 years so who cares?

There is a difference between race swapping a character and an actor playing a different race. Actors playing a different race is usually only frowned upon when it's done poorly, and it is obviously not the race. Comedy is comedy. All is good there, RDJ was brilliant in Tropic Thunder. Actors are ACTING. They play characters and things they are not all the time. Bale played a superhero and a mass murderer. He has played an American. He is none of those. He ACTED. Now if he were to play a black guy in a non-comedy, that would be obvious and insulting. Pacino got those roles because he is Pacino---he has more cache than any Latin actor. He was cast because people go see movies with him in it, and I think besides the over acting he did great. Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger played homos in Brokeback. Neither was Gay. What's the difference if Jake went on to play a Persian (besides the fact that it sucked).

The greatest film depiction of a native American in the films is Chavez in Young Guns - played by Filipino Lou Diamond Phillips.

All these screeching pussies moaning about race swapping have completely forgot that movies are a business and they cast people who will draw an audience, or do the job if it's a supporting role. That's why you had the Duke in Genghis Khan. Ain't nobody going to watch a Hollywood blockbuster starring Batu, the only Mongolian actor in the Western Hemisphere

Nah, you should read up about The Conqueror. Not just the fact that they filmed it near a nuclear test site and half the crew got cancer, but about Wayne insisting on doing what he saw as a Chinese Western regardless of the director trying to talk him out of it.
Have you seen any of it? It's not just modern sensibilities or identity politics. Even allowing that it was filmed at a time when interracial marriage was illegal in a lot of US states, people still found the combination of Wayne's characteristic cowboy drawl with the addition of a fu-manchu mustache pretty godawful. Absolutely panned. Can't find a detailed attribution, but Wayne himself is widely reported as having said the moral of the film was, "Not to make an ass of yourself trying to play parts you're not suited for."

I am black and I couldn’t care less as long as they pull it off well. Some of the roles listed by OP are all time greats imo.

I love it when they complain to the point of self harm. I remember there was supposed to be some movie about some transgender icon, that was supposed to be played by Scarlett Johanson. All the tranny activists bitched and moaned that it wasn't a real transgender person playing the role, and got her to drop out.

The movie was then shelved, never to be heard from again. Could've had a movie about your people with an A-Lister in the lead, that might've made some noise at the box office and bring more exposure to your causes, and instead you wound up with nothing, all due to your petty bullshit.

White folks don't think it's a big deal when there's a buncha blue eyed "Indians" running around on screen but let a movie director try and change the race of some random ass comic book character and, boy oh boy, you ain't never seen so much pissing, moaning and whining in your life
When has that happened with blue eyed Indians?

*Btw you're comparing two totally different things. Recasting a character (who is already established as white) with a black guy for diversity purposes is not the same as an actor who is white, playing the part of a character who is a different ethnicity.
