Do you believe Jones would fight Ngannou?

Of course he would, it's what that price would be that is the sticking point

You're right 'CORRECT' is the right word. Suck it kid, he wasnt and isnt scared. Now, its absolutely believeable that Jones didnt want to sign the dotted line given the highlight reels we could compare. You probably think the Undertaker is really dead too, huh? And that they bury people alive in the WWE?
I dont know what you are attempting to type, but Francis rejected the offer to fight Jones.
The highest pay for a HW fight ever.

Francis said no, and quit MMA.

UFC and Jones came to an agreement.
Francis was offered the highest ever to fight Jones, plus 24 million for two more fights

Francis walked away. He just left the Jones fight; left the UFC, hell, he left MMA!

He just walked away from the Jones fight, for, health insurance?

That isn't how it went down. Francis left because he wanted to box. They had the opportunity to make the Jones fight before the Gane fight but Jones wanted 30 million dollars. Notice how he settled for less once Francis wasn't an option. I don't know where you got he was going to get 24 million for two fights after Jones. It was 8 million for the Jones fight and then less after.

Francis vs Jones was a super fight, potentially one of the biggest fights ever. Both fighters wanted to get paid the maximum amount and were in negotiations for years.

Francis was offered the highest pay ever to fight Jones and he WALKED away.
Jones only option was to fight the interim/#1 contender

Francis just, left.
Not just 8 million. 24 million.

Wrong again. You should look this up a little bit. The info is out there everywhere.

Jones will fight whoever he thinks he can beat: he just wants to be paid proportionately to the danger involved. So, I think he'd fight Ngannou, but only for a pretty big paycheck. He IS the GOAT. The discussion is over.

people acting like nganou is the only HW with 1 punch ko power
stipe has too.any HW can ko another HW
stipe is a harder match for jones because he has stamina a more well rounded fighter
while nganou wont last 5 rounds with jones if jones can grab him

Did you bother to read the link you sent?

"Ngannou reportedly turned down the highest-paying heavyweight deal after being offered it. When questioned about it in an interview with Helwani, ‘The Predator’ stated that he would have earned roughly the same amount as Brock Lesnar did at UFC 200, or even more."

Honestly I think they're afraid of each other. I know that sounds like trolling but I sincerely believe it's true. Jon obviously understands that in the fraction of a second he could be knocked out. Francis obviously understands the threat of being taken down and pounded for 25 minutes.

Also if Stipe KO's Jon everyone is going to be screaming fluke, but it could very well happen.

Considering jon himself said he wouldnt fight DC at HW because he would be too good there and he immediately screamed for more money the second Francis demonstrated an adequate sprawl I’d say yes. Also, his team and himself suggesting retirement right after the Stipe fight would also indicate he has no interest in pursuing that fight.

of course he would. he has the most title defenses in UFC history. he knows that if he avoids the punch, the world is his oyster.

I would compare it to when Wilder and Joshua were both champs...

Money.

Neither want to be the b-side... out priced themselves, and not leaving the promotion any profit worth making it happen.

How is this a question? Ngannou called him out after the Roz fight and Jones shit his pants and had nothing to say
Everyone relax, Jones will never fight at heavyweight.

Na, they're just Heavyweights who do Heavyweight shit. Jones doesn't and never will.

I've seen this kick a thousand times and every time I see it, I know that he gets destroyed at HW. It's awkward, slow, low to the ground, and got nothing on it. DC sees it a mile away and ducks right into it. Poor DC. Jon can't land that kick at HW against someone 6-4+, and if he tried, he would get punched into the second row. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see him try but we all know he never will.

I don't know if Jones wants Stipe or is just acting like it, knowing it will never happen. I doubt Stipe will be returning and there's no way Jones would take a Gane fight as his first fight at HW. It would put him on the wrong end of a definitive loss, if not an outright ass kicking and he knows that. There's no contender besides Stipe that Jones would have a chance against, and I'm not sure why Stipe should still be a contender at this point anyway. That means he either wants a one and done with Stipe, or he doesn't want to fight at all. I'm leaning towards the second.

Yeah, he's going to get brutalized tonight. Those are also my words to describe what we are about to see.

If Gane takes apart Frank--and I believe he will--Jones' UFC career will be officially over imo. Before you start saying 'I knew he wasn't coming back anyway', yeah, I know, I was probably saying that before you, but there was still that 0.5% chance that he might surprise everyone and make good on his word to fight Francis for the belt. At least with Ngannou, he has a narrow path to victory--run around the cage for a few rounds and hope Francis gasses enough to use some grappling without too much risk. But with Cyril, he has no chance of victory. None. Zero. Gane is proven at heavyweight and matches Jones strength for strength and does it all much better. Even if Jones tried some Hail Mary take downs, he would almost certainly get shrugged off and lit up. There's no way Jon wins that fight, he knows it and it will be the nail in the coffin for his HW "dreams". I predict that shortly after Gane's victory, if that is what happens, he will announce his retirement. After all, he never said he would fight Gane, just Ngannou, so with Francis out of the title picture, it would be a great time to slip out the back door with a least some of his pride still intact.

herb coping through the years….

Jon didn't have the confidence to fight Ngannou before (no doubt due to his lack of success when sparring the likes of Overeem), but maybe he does now that he steamrolled Gane, he does have some delusional narcy in him and this win might've puffed him up.
