Do you believe Jones would fight Ngannou?

If he beats Stipe, which I think he will, he will call out Ngannou.
And I believe he'll win that fight too. I would love this just too see the haters come out turn around and say it was actually an easy fight and how Francis was never any good.

I am not sure if Jones will call him out but I think that Francis is going to run out of options very quickly. If he gets this boxing payday he’s going to lose. And he’s pretty much going to have no choice but to run back to the UFC. So I think the Jones fight is very much still in play. I think it’s going to happen.

Yes he would...

Jones's only equal and enemy is himself..

Only Jones's can beat Jones...

U all said Jones is retird wont ever fight HW...and proved u all wrong...he would of fought Francis and he would probably put on a clinic of the MMA..
People were saying Jone's would lose here long before he beat Shogun, people legit thought Chael would beat him lol.
They also think professional MMA fighters are scared of each other lol.

I thought he was going to after his first HW fight, but Jone's has fought everyone, and if he wants to make his legacy or whatever people call it Ngannou is the next guy to fight.
I'd be surprised if he doesn't call him out, if he doesn't I don't know what he will say he wants.
Definitely hope this fight happens either way though.

Yes and I think he could win that fight too.

For the right amount of blow, Jones will do anything
had to laugh

But really//. I don't think either of these guys ducked each other and we missed out on the biggest MMA fight of all time 'cuz money...If it could have come together before Jones' last arrest, we could have had something big. As it stands it still could be and if the price is right, we could still see this fight again. No doubt the UFC would want Francis to sell his soul to them for cheap. They got Jones cheaper than they would have had Jon not ended up in the slammer yet again...

I really think it’s going to happen. Both guys are still in their prime. The fight is still hot. 6 to 9 months from now I think the fight is very much in play.

I don’t think either man is afraid of the other. The fight never came to fruition because the UFC is cheap, and they didn’t want to pay them what they were worth to fight.

Wasn’t Jon Jones asking for a crazy amount of money to fight Ngannou? Dana claimed it was $30M. But then he ended up fighting Ciryl for only $3M. The win bonuses earned him $7M total which is slightly more than the $5M he was averaging per fight.

I think Jon wanted more money to fight Ngannou due to the high risk. He even admitted Ngannou might break his jaw. With Ciryl, there was less risk so he didn’t make the same demands. Ditto for Stipe.

Asking for 30M to face Ngannou and fighting Gane for just 3M is proof that Jon was dodging Francis.

Jon can't admit to being the B side of the fight, he's not going to jeopardize his undefeated curriculum, this fight will only happen when Francis is in frank decline and Jones is sure he won't lose.

He definitely ducked the shit out of ngannou and priced himself out of the fight. That being said, after beating Gane I think theres a better chance of him taking the fight now that hes broken the ice at heavyweight and is on top again.

Yeah, but Francis was the reason Jon wanted to put on so much weight to move to HW. He probably would have moved up the same year at like 235-240 if it was still Stipe. If you're coming in with a wrestling heavy gameplan, you probably don't want to give up 30 lbs like Stipe did.

Yes and I think he could win that fight too.

Hell yea probably gonna happen in 2025 and yes I believe Jones is gonna also fight out his contract, it's still money fights left for him for instance Jones vs Hill or Jones vs Alex Pereira.....might even get the belt back at 205 never know

Jones is the GOAT and fought everyone the LHW division had to offer. Francis isnt 1/2 the fighter jones is. Wanting to get paid for in what in reality would be the biggest fight in UFC =/= being scared.

I still think they will fight..

me too

i believe UFC is hyping this fight so much right now with the fake negotiations with One etc ..

Francis gonna comeback after Jones/Stipe fight for the Biggest UFC HW fight to date

He had the opportunity before they made the Francis Gane fight. He priced himself out of it

Jon refuses to give advantages to his opponents. He cannot tolerate it. He uses roids when he feels insecure about his skill advantage. He put on .5 lb when he was insecure about the size advantage.

He would not face ngannou. Ngannou has a *massive* power advantage which terrified Jon. Ngannou negates jons reach advantage. And ngannou has a 20 lb weight advantage. Jon cannot handle being handicapped by those advantages

It is back and forth. Jon was the one who wanted more money to move up first. He planted this thought in Francis's head that they both should work together and get paid much higher. Francis kept on pushing while Jon was satisfied with a pay increase.

I don't fault either men. Jon's peak earning potential is in the UFC. Francis can earn more doing boxing.

If you pay a man enough he'll fuck a wild animal on live TV

With that said, I think Jones doesn't have a hope in hell against Francis. I think he mostly got lucky with Cyril so Francis would absolutely dominate Johnny. That is, assuming Bones doesn't show up roided and methed to the gills.
