They'll have a threesome

Can the UFC be punished for false advertising? Or Colby and Jorge. I think its fake. If they become friends after the fight, i think the UFC should refund everyone their $75

You know i feel bad for you having to pay 75$ in Australia it's basically 54$

Also Omg, 33.8% of you think it's staged. this is incredible, I guess you guys are convinced eh.

When has Maia ever killed someone from his guard lmao?
Are you being willfully obtuse or just slow in general? How is that question relevant to what I wrote? Take that Hitch belt off.

You should rather be asking the question of, besides Colby, when has anyone ever 'killed' Maia from not just the guard, but top position in general?

When your best attributes are your cardio and hugging ability, you aren't championship material.

Yeah, he sure hugged Maia up badly, huh.

Shields, literally one of the best grapplers in the history of the sport, spent a lot of time on top of Maia and controlled him well. Difference to Colby? Aside from a few short, non-impactful elbows throughout the entire fight, Shields didn't manage to land any meaningful offense from the top position.

Weidman, an elite wrestler and an ADCC level grappler, took Maia down once in each of the three rounds of their fight. Difference to Colby? Weidman was unable to establish control on the ground and Maia got up very quickly each time, absorbing virtually no damage off of his back.

Gunnar Nelson, an elite grappler, managed to reverse Maia 2-3 times in their fight. Difference to Colby? Gunnar was never able to establish control, much less land any offense either.

2 mate's cashing in.
Jorge would have to be a real scumbag for him to give the approval to let Colby call him a “Horrible father. And “he’s missing child payments.” Even in wrestling, stuff like this was mostly not a part of the storyline.

Fake

They were super cool until suddenly they werent.

The colby beef with usman was entertaining, but wasnt real either.

Both have 2 losses to the champ, and mas is likely about to be on the downslide, so it was an obvious easy payday for 2 guys with no clear path in the division.

Wolf tickets but i'll be entertained.

I think it’s real for Masvidal and fake for Colby. Guys like Jorge seem beef with anyone who comes at them sideways. Colby seems like he’s committed to the obnoxious pro wrestler antics.

Edit: Voted real, but I should’ve picked average. 50-50 for me.

So Masvidal and his coach think Colby got paid $350k and Colby said it was $200k, right?

Anyone else think this is just a semantics difference? That Colby got paid $350k and take home pay (after taxes) was $200k?

Regardless. It’s a bad look when a guy agrees to 5% and doesn’t mind paying it when he’s making $22k, but suddenly and unilaterally decides a set dollar amount (eg he fucking reneges) is more appropriate than a percentage the first time he gets paid a few hundred k….Colby is not the first athlete to do this.

I think a lot of the stories and shit talking is fake but......the fact that Jorge has stated Colby talked about his religion, family and children is enough to make me believe its real.

Initially I thought it's fake but it's hard for me to believe they wouldn't hang out for 3 years and Colby leaving the gym for a POTENTIAL payday for the future.
And some nasty things are being said.

If it turns out it was staged from both guys i will be very surprised and will give them props for staging it.

Based on Dustin-Colby, I'm thinking it's real between Mas-Colby.

Dustin won't even allow Colby to make money off of his name in an actual UFC fight. He'll only fight him in the streets. He said it is going to happen the first time he sees him and every time he sees him. That kind of talk is 100% wasted energy/a complete nonsense distraction if it isn't real.

From Colby's side, I think he's partially acting but he has a narcissistic streak so it's partially a genuine disregard for others type of thing.

We got a tie. Between Staged and Real. be sure to vote before March 5th.
