Do ya'll think the Colby/Jorge beef is fake?--IF so why??

To me watching the fight is more exciting than discussing whether a beef is real or fake. That's why I voted a bit of both. Also TS there is another thread with a poll but whatever you seem pretty passionate about it lol.

You are acting like Colby loses but gets title matches because of promos, even your boring idols would get title shot if they are winning enough

Also, why wouldn't I be passionate? everything I do is passionate. lmao. (Well with Art n such, but I just wanna do what's best for Thread Starters is all)

Im in the minority but i think Mas is still good too. He just got flatlined by Usman.

But yes hopefully after this the winner fights Luque or something.

I think there is some base of truth in it, but of course its been played up and put cameras in their face and boom it just takes a life of its own. I'd suggest to everyone just enjoy the actual fight for what it is and hopefully its a good fight
 
They dislike each other but play it up for the cameras. Colby wouldn't have left ATT if it was all fake. However, it's definitely embellished.

Elite at exercising. He's a competitor, not a fighter. When your best attributes are your cardio and hugging ability, you aren't championship material.

I'm rooting for Jorge cause I love fighting over wrestling. To be fair to Colby though, it's mixed martial arts and even as Jorge says in a recent interview (the one with Max Kellerman) he knows he must spend 60-70% of his training time wrestling. Also while I agree with you that he may not be champ material he's a helluva good mixed martial artist and his striking has improved over the years.

But we've seen plenty of champions with similar attributes. Im not even a Colby fan but he's def a fighter. Went to war with Usman even after he got his jaw busted. Got finished but never gave up. As a fan of fighting, i gotta respect that. He basically went down swinging.

Don't forget tho that Jorge got knocked out while Colby had a lost due to decision, if my mystic powers are correct, Masvidal will get tko'd.
