Do restaurant make soup or use can

1 money is basically guaranteed to have canned soup. 2 money chances of having canned soup goes down about 16 1/6 percent chance. Three money doubles to about 33 1/3 percent chance of having canned soup. But 4 money KNOWS that nobody comes there for the soup so they all have canned soup. So you gotta watch out for all moneys but definitely 1 & 4.

Alright. Next time I go soup hunting I’m gonna go to a three money establishment. I want that real Crenshaw onion soup

All my first jobs were in restaurants first as a dishwasher, then a cook, and then cooking while running the kitchen. This was in chain or family owned businesses. All made their own soups. None bought a base soup to add to. It made sense to make your own soups as you often had by product 'waste' from the meals you were making that could make a good soup base instead of throwing that stuff out. Think about having Chicken and Turkey carcasses after you carve them. DO you throw that away or make a good bone broth base for soups?

Is everyone just pretending to understand what the hell TS is talking about?

What the fuck kinda restaurants are you going to that serve canned soup? I'm pretty sure even Olive Garden-tier restaurants make their own soups in house
Oh wow what I wouldn’t give to be this young and naïve again. It would be like playing a new Zelda game- everything is mysterious and glee-inducing.

I believe most soups from restaurants come from soup in a bag and they just add extra water and salt

I know how @Kaybee feels man. It wasn’t until I was recently biting the soup of a local establishment that I realized these peas soup may not be fresh. I then realized my favorite thing to get at eating out has been a lie.

Lol. No. Not the left overs off plates. I am talking about the scrap left over from prep of foods.

Have you ever deboned/carved a turkey or chicken at home? There is a ton of stuff left over that you generally do not put on someones dinner plate that can instead make a great soup base.

Making soup is not rocket science, but i am sure that a lot of chains get it already done centrally and distribute it for reheating.

If you think Olive Garden soup is made fresh I've got some bitcoin to sell you. It's going to supplant all government backed currency in the next 20 years.
