It was when Conor turned over flat on his front and exposed his neck that he quit. He quit to two punches on the ground from Nate Diaz. Watch the clip and you can see his hands sliding to his shorts, because if Nate didnt take the choke Conor was about to offer his ass rather than get struck by the skinnyfat cholo again.

Damn man I feel like it's been the opposite, it seems like everytime I come to these forums there's like 4 or 5 threads on the first page about how Conor is still the goat, nate only won Bc he was bigger or Conor was dominating up until he gassed (not even giving diaz credit for ripping him up with knees/body punches and then rocking him)

he got stopped in the 2nd round. you dont get to say he beat nate's ass. conor did not do well at all.
 
I think he can take a pretty damn good asswhooping and hang in there. Body shots make everyone shut down.

However, he even admitted he has a hard time getting his head right in some fights, and especially big fights. He underperforms in big fights (I don't want to say chokes, but...)
 
I want to see a grappling match between nate and cerrone. That would be fun. Cerrone and Nate both would school conor on the ground though.
 
Conor did the smart thing! He wanted to stay away from those head shots so he can fight again soon!
He knew he can't finish Nate, so might as well conserve some headshot for future title shots

The right shot can rock anyone, & he got rocked by a straight left. I think as you watch more combat sports you'll learn this yourself.
