Do Conor fans still consider Cerrone a quitter?

I'm just curious based on something I read online today.

Before the fight, people were lighting Cerrone up for having been finished (twice in UFC) and appearing to quit in fights. Conors chin was believed to be untouchable and his will to win second to none.

Cerrone really got shit on.

However, the guy can really take a shot. He took three rounds of Diaz's abuse and was never wobbled. Took some haymakers from Barboza, Guillard, Alvarez, as well and came back to win those fights.

So what's the consensus now?

Oh, that's a good one.

In before excuse train.

The only thing they have in common is that they are both willing to take fights on short notice.

More heart than Conor.

He took a ton of punishment from Nate and didn't get finished. He also dropped Nate with a head kick.

Conor took one clean shot from Nate then started backing up immediately and became a panic wrestler.

It's weird that you expect Conor McGregor fans simply to share the same sentiment that was expressed by Conor McGregor himself. Almost as if, they're ... I dunno ... sheep or something.

Weird

If i was a Connie fan id be worried about his chin

Good chins dont get rocked by Nate Diaz

Cowboy is certainly a choke artist. He can never win when it really counts. But if you want to talk about quitters, look no further than Leprechaunnor! He got hurt on the feet by Nate, he turned into a panic wrestler, and got strangled half to death! At which point he tapped faster than Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers!

In an age where guys are pulling out of fights with stubbed toes, neither of them are quitters. At least they show up on fight night.

He sure as hell can't take a body shot. But yeah, his ability to get TKO'd instead of KO'd is admirable.

Tapping =/= quiting.
Going turtle position does.

well i mean Cerrone wasn't fighting a guy who's 10 divisions heavier though

Chael showed up to a lot of fights if there was a decent payday.

He quit immediately when he faced any adversity but he still showed up!

with this logic, conor fans can't talk bad about anybody
