Do Bronx will lame his way to a title

I underestimated the degree to which Do Bronx could lame the opposition with his grappling /JJ. He can take a top tier fighter and just put him on his back and keep him there, albeit while not doing any damage.

I don't know who else in the top 5 who could deal with his grappling. Maybe Hooker, good striking and he's huge for a LW, hard to take down. Poirier is real scrappy but he got handled by Khabib on the ground. Def not Gaethje, his JJ is kindergarten tier. Conor can put Charles' lights out but I fear he might get lamed as well.

What do you think?

Posts like this is why we need a dislike button

You give Charles the damn title shot. I don't care against who. Conor, Dustin, Justin, even Chandler ffs. Find one or them IF Khabib retires. If not, Khabib vs Oliveira asap

At this point if Do Bronx nest fight isn't for a belt it will be CRIMINAL

You can dislike a guy and still not need to type up some convoluted BS to shit on him. Lol.

At one point in time, I thought Charles was destined to lose big fights and just crush solid opposition forever. The guy has improved as much as any fighter I've ever seen in application of skill and fixed his physical and mental shortcomings this last year. Just phenomenal.
This

There's fighters I like and fighters I don't, but even the ones I don't like, I can usually find something to respect about them.

Then there's idiots like TS who just shit on fighters for no real reason and then do crazy mental gymnastics to try and justify it when their bullshit turns out wrong

He's been doing back flips to shit on guys, lol.

That armbar would have finished the fight 99% of the time, Ferguson is just not human.

Do Bronx has 18 wins in the UFC and 16 of them are finishes. He can do whatever the fuck he wants.

Bloody hell TS has been mullered here.

What does lamed even mean? Charles has done enough to fight for a vacant title.

And Charles has always been exciting for over a decade. I can’t recall a boring fight. Win or loss for him

Oliveras is an exciting fighter for those that like offensive BJJ. I hope Khabib sticks around and takes him on for his final fight.

Oliveira is like a completley different fighter than a few yrs back. Dude started really young and hes been improving while competing. Pretty impressive. Tony still a warrior though. No shame in losing to either him or Gaethje.

You guys are misinterpreting.

I'm saying he has an easy path to the title because he can lame his way with grappling. Not saying he's always lame. His older fights in fact are probably more exciting because he faced lower tier competition.

I gave Usman crap too when he controlled Masvidal without trying to do damage or finish.
Yeah i get what you saying
That was his easiest path to victory tho, he saw the openings and capitalized. Tony is better than him on the feet.
The capacity to impose your gameplan for the entire fight against a guy like Tony aint easy

Do Bronx is anything but lame, he's improved tremendously. He's like a LW version of Werdum.

Lol at being so clueless as to what you were watching. Tony was the one who did not want to take any risk. The onus is on the guy losing the match to get something done. Tony didn't want to give up his back or put his neck out trying to scramble. Tony was actually being very conservative on the bottom.

I didn't that Oliveira can be this dangerous, almost ripping Tony's arm to shreads.

any fighter not named tony ferguson would've been broken. it was not that oliveira wasn't inflicting any damage [he was!], it was that el cucuy's mental toughness was/is/will always be beyond compare. if you didn't see that, go back to watching tables, ladders and chairs.

Ok besides the sub attempt. The guy just put Tony's legs behind his head and pinned him down all match.
