best politician of my lifetime by FAR. (I have said Walz is but have also said that Walz is no Bernie). but hes not viable thanks to Dems tanking him on purpose. one time in a debate with Hillary that the majority of people thought Bernie either won our did really well in NPR ran a story that said something like this "Hillary debates Bernie.... was it a landslide win for Hillary"

Obama was the best politician in my lifetime because I wasn't old enough for Kennedy. Greatest orator of the 2000s, two terms, and still isn't embarrassing.

Obama was naive and could have fought for and won some great policies but naively believed the repubs would cooperate with him.


I believe he was/is a good guy though. I think Obama is when the rep party blew a fuse though.... sleeveless dresses and tans suits on black presidents and first ladies did not go over too well.

not readers... listeners. and that is the kind of skillful framing only the best and most committed liars practice. I detest sophists more than any kind of liar. they hide the hook well. it was followed by a nice long segment cementing in nothing but bad takes about that debate and those candidates.

He didn't wanna be too radical and fuck it up for the next minority running. He played the game, and was rather centrist in his policies. Still, he got Osama and put millions on healthcare.

I realized listeners as I typed and didn’t want to go back and correct it.
I think they are rather fair on not it I wish they would go into more detail. They have many great shows that do give information that you wouldn’t know if you only watched msm

we had a real chance with Bernie but we chose barabbas instead. I'll never fully recover from that.

still I've got quite a bit of hope in walz if not kamala.... but she chose him so I've got quite a bit of hope in her too.

Eh, I'd still take two terms of Obama over McCain or Romney, which were the alternatives. Should Obama have done more in his lame duck years? Probably, but Trump was coming regardless.

i'll take obama over a LOT of other people too man especially Romney and McCain. don't get me wrong. listening to him is a breath of fresh air after Trump and Biden. but damn if Biden didn't show up and surprise me by being a quality president....
