Maybe. They do being a net economic benefit. It’s true, lately at least, that the conventions haven’t brought in as much money to their host cities as expected. But it’s still over 100 million into those local economies, I believe.

Trump enacted more than 2/3 of the Heritage Foundation’s policies when he was POTUS, and just about all of his judicial nominees came from their lists. Additionally, many of their policies mirror his, so I think he’ll largely follow their playbook because it helps him accomplish things he already wants to accomplish.
