Elections DNC today in Chicago

Really? Because it's been reported for years that Kamala is a monster to her personal staff ? I guess that it's just "because" they cannot handle her overwhelming "joy".

Even if this were true it's just such a stupid attack coming from the most hated man in America. There's reports that 75% or more of his previous admin hates his guts and we all know why JD Vance is VP. He's not going to stand up against him like Pence did when he tried to overturn the election.
Pretty interesting candid interview with a former employee of her.

Lying for pandering instead of being truthful. This is "Tupac-level" unnecessary.

Tampon Tim is turning out to be the next George Santos. Like 2 weeks ago he was a retired command Sargeant major and Afghanistan war hero, and was Mike Ditka who turned the whole football program around from dead last to state champs, and had his kids through IVF. Turns out he's just some closeted gay guy who put tampons in boys bathrooms.

Lol you using the word joy too ? I know it's the fake artificial message pushed in the last two weeks but come on man .. don't be WeIrD
I think I’m his case it is actually true. Guy seems like a happy friendly guy. The type of person that makes you feel you’ve been friends for a long time already.

Those sects would be effectively irrelevant in US politics, which is the primary difference and why the comparison to evangelical Christianity is pertinent in politics. There mainstream and most powerful sects of Muslim America are supportive of gay marriage, otherwise we'd see a much lower average. There are many sects of Christianity that have higher levels of support, but none are as influential or politically powerful as Evangelical Christians, which admittedly is more of a political identify than religious identity at this point.

Again, I'm not sure how there's any debate when saying that by and large, Muslim Americans are more supportive of gay rights and issues than a key Christian denomination like evangelicals, white or otherwise.

As I've already said, your mathing on Muslim subgroups is just a guess (as though you know whether the 53% overall support comes from averaging subgroups with 90% support with similar sized subgroups with 13% support, or from averaging subgroups with 56% support with similar sized subgroups with 50% support).

But I don't have any argument with your assertion that Christian Evangelicals have an outsized influence on politics in the US when compared to Muslims or even other Christian groups which I suppose, depending on the conversation you were having before I jumped in, is relevant.

It's just that the specific post I was replying to started with the following statement:

"Why would I distinguish between identifying as a Muslim and practicing as a Muslim when I wouldn't do the same for any other religious group?"

And then you basically went directly into doing exactly that for the religious group that identifies as Christian.

It's possible that I just need to go back and look at the line of discussion that I jumped into, because as much as I think I agree with your defense of Muslims as full citizens of nuanced and various political outlooks, just like (and no less valid than) anyone else... I'm honestly, and without hostility or animosity, not able to see how the data as provided on the graphic tells us anything precise enough to forward your analysis, or any sort of analysis for that matter.

Sigh…you really want to put stock into what ex staffers say about the candidates.

“they were disgusted by Trump describing, in vivid anatomical detail, how he’d like to have sex with his adult daughter, Ivanka (who, by the way, worked in the White House with him, and some of them).”

100% I understand it, and the whole political system is bullshit. Hell, Saint Cassidy Hutchinson was built on 2nd, 3rd, maybe even 4th hand stories. Adam Schiff under oath recounted a self confessed "creative narrative" on Trumps thoughts during January 6th, that is just accepted as "true events"

Why are you saying hiya? It’s something I’ve only hear my family members say
I was addressing the poster in a friendly manner. Does it mean something sinister elsewhere?
