Elections DNC today in Chicago

With Beshear's Kentucky history I had him earmarked for VP so he's doing a good job here.

Ocasio-Cortez can tell a story. But she said a whole lot of nothing. In nearly 8 minutes, she managed to appeal to the crowd’s emotions, but where were the policies? Where was the agenda? This seems to be the theme of the Democrats in 2024—all fluff and no substance.

Yes, Trump is the opponent they want to defeat, but there’s such a thing as too much Trump. Instead of focusing on what they can do for the country, she focused on Trump and more Trump. Criticizing Trump’s corporate ties while ignoring your own is hypocrisy at its finest.

She claims to support the Green New Deal and Medicare for All, but did we hear anything about those? Not a word. She’s quick to mention her past as a waitress, but where’s the plan to actually help working-class people?

This was just more centrist, incrementalism, anti-Trump pandering. The speech lacked any bold statements or specifics.
if you want a summary of their policy position I'll link one.

What a sad segment. I’ve sat in on CHOP seminar on neonatal and prenatal care. They had some families come in to speak of their experience of planning a family and then finding out their baby wasn’t viable or would be severely disabled and the difficult choices they had to make.
It was also amazing to see the work the doctors are doing to save babies with health conditions in the womb and make sure they are viable.

not gonna watch, unless you can tell me what this has to do with kamala harris and the dnc convention.

and while you're at it, clean my toilet bitch!

I watched. He said the poorest people in Kuwait live like kings.

Kuwait has 4.27 million citizens with about 100k homeless.

US has 300 million citizens with 650000 homeless

<36>

Gee Donald, I wonder why Kuwait does pretty well when 90% of government income in Kuwait is from oil lmao

They are awful quiet about forcing women to have kids from rape and incest

I think this is way better than the RNC and we just had one day.

1. Audience has way more energy.

2. Speakers are a lot better. I felt like the RNC was a bunch of weirdo criminals trying to get a pardon by electing Trump.
Just wait until Arnold and Jesse come out hunting down The sexual Predator.

It's funny. Republican hatred of Soros started because of his opposition to the Iraq War, but now even most of you guys admit he was right, but the hatred remains.

I've been disappointed at the lack of Soros talk from the right this cycle. He was a giant talking point last time when the focus of paranoia were the "globalists" out to destroy the West.

The current fixation is on men in women's sports and bathrooms or whatever but I really hope they don't think Soros doesn't care about that. He's certainly funding Tranny Story Time.

How can you talk about billionaire Soros when you have Heritage and every other billionaire backed think tank behind you and subverting American democracy.
