You must moved the goal posts. Well done.Beterbiev didn't spend years out of the ring. Gvozdyk hadn't beaten anyone notable in many years when he fought Benavidez. Name his last credible win.

Who said anything about the winner having to fight Eifert next? That's between the WBC & IBF to figure out which mandatory is next in the rotation. The WBC already skipped the line by ordering Bivol to fight Benavidez when it was the IBF's turn. I doubt Beterbiev would retire if he wins. He probably has a few more fights left in him. The point is that Benavidez doesn't think that EITHER Bivol or Beterbiev are ducking him. That's because he understands the boxing business. Why would Bivol take $8 million for a Benavidez fight when he's making a guaranteed $10 million for the Beterbiev trilogy? The Benavidez fight isn't going anywhere.
Can't answer such a simple question? That's telling. The version of Gvozdyk that fought Benavidez, we'll call him "Comeback Gvozdyk" as he was previously retired for several years, was clearly past his best. Your first clue should've been his complete lack of any credible opponents after he unretired, your second clue should've been his age, and the third and final clue should've been how he performed in his comeback fights. Compare that version to the prime one that Beterbiev destroyed. The difference is night & day between them. You must moved the goal posts. Well done.
Why wouldn't David's opinion matter? He knows much more than a deluded fanboy like you would about this situation. You do realize how retarded it looks by you calling this a duck when David himself disagrees lol. Laughable and props to David for keeping it real.Since when do you care what Davids opinion is? Are you suggesting if he claimed they were ducking you could believe him? lol. You are not following the conversation also. It looks like Bivol has delayed the trilogy fight, yet he refused to delay it to fight David when he was his mando. Hence the duck talk.

Beterbiev is old in terms of his age but he didn't spend years out of the ring not boxing. Gvozdyk's own trainer said that Beterbiev mentally broke him. In other words, effectively ruined him. This is the version that Benavidez fought and he didn't make a statement in it. You said so yourself he didn't look very good. Fast forward to Morrell, a competitive fight in which Benavidez was dropped for the second time in his career. He's yet to even drop anyone at LHW in his last couple of fights nevermind finish them. Doesn't have the pop. Bivol, a guy not known for his power, hits harder and that isn't a good sign for Benavidez.
You now want evidence to prove that he doesn't believe Bivol is ducking him after he already explained that he was confident he'd fight the winner and that he understood why a trilogy would happen? LOL. See, this is why nobody takes you seriously around here.Because it's laughable to suggest you would say the same thing if David disagreed with your position lol. btw show me a evidence of David disagreeing Bivol ducked him. I have not seen it.
Wrong, there's more to being 'past it' than age. Wear & tear, or the opposite (years spent not fighting), it all takes its toll on the form a fighter is in. Benavidez was dropped. Was it a significant knockdown? No, but it was officially ruled a knockdown. I don't recall David ever protesting it, either. This is just one more thing that you have an issue with that David himself doesn't. Seek professional help. You moved the goal posts. Your point was age, but when I cooked you on that you created some different criteria. Benavidez was not dropped vs Morrell he tripped. Shows how much you know about boxing. He literally blocked a punch and was pushed over and tripped.
because Biev and Bivol are 1-1. and both contests were extremely close. Biev is the only dude to beat Bivol professionally and he did the best against him.huh? Why is he stalling Benavidez when he could have fought him? He fought Beterbiev twice already so he is clearly not scared of him. I just don't think he can be bothered with the 3rd fight after he beat him already.
Biev offered to fight Benavidez several years back and Benavidez said no. he's only got the WBC belt cause Bivol vacated.Canelo, Bivol, and Beterbiev all dont want to fight Benavidez, weird
the chaotic evil optionI hope the 3rd fights a draw so then they can make a 4th and piss everyone off.
I like that it's in Russia. Should be a lively crowd.
