Did Rogan dislike Goldberg?

Rogan shits on Goldberg at work and shits on Bryan Callen the rest of the time probably. He seems to get off on being the tough guy on the comedy scene too.

The arrogance with which he dismisses actual UFC fighters or ref's opinions and thinking he is the Grand Poobah of all MMA is equally sickening

I like the JRE Podcast. And Joe knows a helluva lot more about fighting than I ever will. That being said, i do cringe when Rogan brings up his "when he was fighting" story's. Which basically was Tae Kwon do as a kid and maybe one or two Muai Thai bouts?

Im being a hater but it is the way he says it. ok, joe kick boxing yes - but point karate is not real fighting -- which he says himself all the time. Its definetly tough, but he says it in a context like he was actually a Pro MMA competitor.

He was legit doing pretty high level TKD bouts for years. He also says the flaws with TKD and how he was so bad with his hands once he started doing different types of training later. You don't have a spinning back kick like that from a few "Muai" Thai bouts.

Rogan has always praised Goldberg on his podcast. Frequently saying that what Goldberg does is very hard, and that he could never do it. Time and plug all that product placement and stuff like that. Be that in sync with the production crew.

So, while he may correct often Goldberg on air, which to be fair, Goldberg even after 20 years of calling fights for the UFC still says dumb shit, Rogan has always left the impression that he really likes Goldberg and enjoys working with him.

Actually, Joe Rogan has an extensive fighting background and is an absolutely legitimate martial artist. Hate the guy if you want, but you can't knock his credentials.

His credentials are worthless compared to Stann, Hardy, Florian, Cruz, Bisping.

Taken this quote from another thread because it seems pretty accurate. UFC 207 was Goldbergs last appearance for the promotion over so many years however at the end not even Rogan had the decency to give thanks or best wishes or even look at the guy he's been working alongside all of these years.

Which leads me to wonder does Rogan actually dislike Goldberg even though they've worked together week in week out all these years?

I used to find it irritating too when Goldberg would mess up a line or say something stupid and Rogan would tear him apart on live television to make Goldberg look even worse.

Has Rogan ever commented on whether he likes or dislikes Goldberg? Someone mentioned that the fact he's never invited him on the podcast suggests he's not a fan?
the word you are looking for is "professional"
They both acted professionally until the end. Kind of surprising i know!

He can kick thats for sure. I agree he has some skill and knowledge. Again, im a Rogan fan. But its how prefaces those story's sometimes --- if you didnt know better you'd assume he had a long career in Pride or some shit.

Rogan is a cunt to anyone that he considers his subordinate in the profession of their choosing. Look at how he treats Redban and Callen most of the time.

Probably sick of him after working with him for so long.

Rogan seems like the type that only likes himself and just has acquaintances.

Rogan is a douche teenager in his off time.. Goldie might not be that. The podcast isn't terrible, because they curse and dumb down while trying to sound smart etc.. etc... But Goldie wouldn't fit there, he's not a California stoner douche type; he's a different douche type.

They are two different douche types. There are too many Rogan types, so I'm not taking his side over Goldie. I'm also not getting mad at the UFC for making a change; you make those once in a while. A "Nice working with you" would have been very, very appropriate,
So in conclusion, douche?

I don't think so. I remember Rogan saying he and Mike always hugged at the beginning of every event.

And then at the end they would do that gay little ritual where they would give props to each other with their microphones.

Goldie seems like a passive dude. If Jim Rome comes in, I guarantee there will be some awkward back and forth between the two. I doubt he will back down from Joe Rogaine.

Ask your mommy and daddy about this, or maybe your teacher/babysitter.

This is true, since Rogan made THE MOST FUCKING BORING PODCAST EVER, with BRUCE BUFFER
Rogan is an ass kisser. Which is exactly how he has his job without any fighting background.

So he has to play the politics game and hate the guy they are kicking to the curb.
Do you even MMA?

No retard can say Joe doesn't have any fighting background

I think he likes him but he also was with him through the time where Goldie was given an enforced "break" a few years ago. May have been revealed already but it seems he has some problems personally that maybe distract him at times.

Rogan has always been a scumbag. I'm not surprised, motherfucker.

One of the effects of cocaine is that two people who don't even like each other can spend a ridiculous amount of time talking out of their asses together without ever becoming attached.

They call BJJ matches "fights". I don't have a problem with it, in TKD and Karate matches, dudes are getting KO'd.

I wouldn't say worthless, not as legitimate or knowledgable perhaps, but hardly worthless.

Redban is dumbshit and deserves to be spit on, Callen is a such a sycophant its beyond contempt.
