Did Rogan dislike Goldberg?

Rogan shits on Goldberg at work and shits on Bryan Callen the rest of the time probably. He seems to get off on being the tough guy on the comedy scene too.

The arrogance with which he dismisses actual UFC fighters or ref's opinions and thinking he is the Grand Poobah of all MMA is equally sickening
To be fair to Joe, he does have a lot of experience around MMA and has obviously seen a lot of fights over the years, so he does speak from an obvious level of experience. That said, he's also arrogant and condescending and at times becomes extremely biased in his commentary.

Rogan is not a man and never knew what respect is. Which is exactly why he has become succesful in show business.

Taken this quote from another thread because it seems pretty accurate. UFC 207 was Goldbergs last appearance for the promotion over so many years however at the end not even Rogan had the decency to give thanks or best wishes or even look at the guy he's been working alongside all of these years.

Which leads me to wonder does Rogan actually dislike Goldberg even though they've worked together week in week out all these years?

I used to find it irritating too when Goldberg would mess up a line or say something stupid and Rogan would tear him apart on live television to make Goldberg look even worse.

Has Rogan ever commented on whether he likes or dislikes Goldberg? Someone mentioned that the fact he's never invited him on the podcast suggests he's not a fan?
Rogan is an employee and he doesn't control these things.

You could tell Rogan always thought he was better than Goldie, but I think it's pretty obvious Goldie would destroy Rogan in a streetfight

Actually, Joe Rogan has an extensive fighting background and is an absolutely legitimate martial artist. Hate the guy if you want, but you can't knock his credentials.
What is his MMA record?

maybe they were instructed not to mention it before the show.... or maybe Goldie requested it not be mentioned?

I honestly wouldn't have even known about it if I wasn't reading these forums over the last couple of days.

Luke Thomas said that the rumour is that Goldie wasn't doing his homework recently. It's possible that Rogan felt a bit slighted by that, having to do some of Mike's job for him.

Watch the Bravo leak again:

What we know for sure from that is that Rogan knew and told his friends about it. It's possible he had bitched about Goldberg to them. Maybe it's just because Eddie fucked up by speaking out, but the way they joke off the leak makes it seem like maybe they aren't that upset about it, like maybe Rogan was hoping it would happen.

I don't know. That's a stretch, I'll admit. The really weird part to me is that Rogan didn't even say anything on Twitter. That and him blanking Goldie at the end make it seem like he's ready to cut him out and be done with him. Maybe he's just bad at goodbyes and thought it would be easier to blank Mike rather than cry on camera.

I'm sure there's some juicy gossip to come.

Rogan:
"I'll stay in contact with Mike till the day I die...
Mike is my friend and... you know...
the ufc was sold to WME, they have their own thoughts on what they want to do and...
I'll be friends with Goldberg till the day I die. I love that guy."

Schaub:
"couldn't get the guy a sign-off though?"
Rogan:
"ush, yeah man... I didn't know what to do, man."
Schaub:
"audsafaf xxxfa" (something somethin)
Rogan:
"I know, they didn't want to, man."
"I don't know what's going on, on terms of organizations, you know, or what happen....
I literally know Dana, and Dana is the reason I'm still there.
I mean, I met Ari, he is very nice guy, a very smart guy, a very successful guy, I'm rooting for them, obviously I'am still with the company, it's an honor to work for the ufc but I... you know, have no..."

Schaub: "But if Dana is out, you are out?!?"
Rogan:
"oh yesss. He's the only reason I'm there. If Dana talked me into staying..."
...

Rogan is an ass kisser. Which is exactly how he has his job without any fighting background.

So he has to play the politics game and hate the guy they are kicking to the curb.

Just ignorant?

He was a big star for the UFC when he started.
