Media Did Dubois hit Usyk low??

Was it a lowblow?

no, he didnt
Dickpuncher Dubois punched below the beltline, the ref ruled it low, and Dubois had nothing for Usyk the whole rest of the fight. and was stopped 4 rounds later.
youre usually wrong and i admire your consistency in that regard.

maybe paper "champ" Dubois can do something differently this time around.
Lemme ask you a question. what is it you think you stand to gain by denying reality? I mean, I know this is an anonymous forum so who cares about your reputation on these message boards, right? but I'm thinking you and your fellow denialists are trying to salvage something that must be as important as your self-identity. you don't give a shit if anybody with two brain cells can see that you are lying your ass off. you don't give a good god damn!...i mean, it's right there. in front of your eyes. you could say something less insane such as "well usyk had his belt way up high." but that's not even what you're saying...you're just saying "fcuk reality, it is what i want it to be." damn, son.

The WBA reviewed it after Team Dubois protested the referee's call. They had no issue with it. Were they just siding with Team Usyk? I doubt it. Twice as many people thought the shot was low. More recently the WBA didn't side with Tank when he took a knee. The president of the WBA came out and said that it should've been ruled a knockdown and that the ref shouldn't have stopped counting.
really, you "doubt it'? you gotta be kidding me.

hey lunatic, even on this site, there have been 220 people vote and less than a third of them think it was a low blow

Then 220 of them are either having a mental breakdown or they're full of agenda-driven shit. that was clearly a blow to the BELTLINE. Dubois knocked usyk tfo whether you wanna accept that reality or not. and the sport of boxing cheated for usyk because the sport doesn't give a damn about the boxers. only about ego, money and the promoters.

I got this for you.

damn, it really is like y'all got some kind of PTSD. y'all bury yourselves in so much denial. I don't know. I got a feelin'... is it like a existential crisis for yall?
Well let's sit down and figure this out.

Can you take this picture and put a thin horizontal line where the belt line is?

Edit* you've been taking a long time to draw a line so lemme explain. I want to know if you think the line is the very top of that top band, or if you think it's the center of that band around where the logo is, or maybe the bottom of the band where the trunks actually 'start,' or somewhere else entirely.

I mean, if we're going to act like I (along with everyone else apparently), am just dumb, then let's prove me dumb. Let's treat me like a kid who needs visuals, and mark where the line is

Even the sanctioning bodies are capable of being objective every once in a while. Again, the consensus is that the blow was low not legal. Feel free to check the poll in this thread or any of them across the web on various boxing sites. The result is the same. It's clear that you don't know where the beltline actually is and even then it's only allowed to be hit when the ref explicitly permits it prior to the fight starting which wasn't the case here.

Man was hit in the gut and went down.
We all saw it.

I say Good Day

How is this still a discussion on here? There are videos of Dubios hitting Usyk low multiple times in the fight. The shot that dropped Usyk wasn’t the worst one he threw that night, but it was still low and Usyk was well and truly softened up down there.

Had it not been ruled low and Usyk not been given recovery time he would probably have got back up anyway.

apparently everyone who doesnt agree has "agenda driven shit" going on

or you know, we maybe know the rules of boxing
I'm still waiting for him to draw that beltline so he can educate me on what that word means (to him)

That'll happen with illegal blows

Bye, see ya later

Translation: the sanctioning bodies are fulla shit until they say something i agree with. Congratulations, you have proven yourself to be extra average.

see? that's called "fudging." it's when you don't address the actual point of contention, but instead, pretend like you are. we're not talking about the "multiple times" throughout the fight that dubois hit usyk. we're talking about the. one. particular. punch. that knocked usyk down and rendered him unable to continue for longer than 10 seconds. not the punch that landed 5 minutes before or the punches that landed 10 minutes later. just THAT one, particular, singular blow, by itself. yes, that ONE punch. and unless you have a serious vision impairment, which you shouldn't if you're posting on a message board, it's clear as day the punch landed on the BELTLINE. in which case it was a legal blow and dubois should have been awarded the KO win.

thank you. you saw it, i saw it, tim bradley and the commentary crew saw it, and the jokers on this forum all saw it. they don't like to admit it, but truth is a stubborn thing.

Where's the belt line?

For someone who accuses people of denying reality, you love dodging questions.

Which means that his entire argument ultimately boils down to accusing the majority of being dishonest. LOL
it's interesting you would make this point, because what you're saying is "the majority is always honest." or "the majority is always right." and it shows you have absolutely no sense of historical perspective.

So, i've given this some thought, because it's interesting to me. in pop psychology you read about things like "mass hysteria" and "group think" and other phenomena where a collective of people are misled even though the truth is staring them in the face. and it's freakin mystifying. but seems to me, it's a choice. kinda like being in a cult. imo, people in a cult know it's BS. but they crave validation so bad. and there are so many other people with them, so they're like "all these other folks are going along with the lie, so i'm safe if i go along too. with all these numbers on our side nobody can call me out and ridicule me or censure me. so i'm gonna go along with it too. because it serves my purpose and my agenda."

The majority of hardcore boxing fans gave it an honest look, as they have no reason to lie, and came to their own conclusion just as I did. It's an opinion so whether they're right or wrong can't be proven. But sure, let's pretend that they're all conspiring against Dubois just because you disagree with their opinion. I didn't create the poll in this thread. All I did was point out the results to you. The only person in this thread with an agenda is you. Learn the rules of boxing and then come back.
