  1. It's not true about the media. They allowed articles discussing the possibility of the Wuhan Lab leak. Here is one from the Washington Post, way back in April 2020. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...-issues-wuhan-lab-studying-bat-coronaviruses/ I also remember reading one on Politico 3 or so months ago. It picked up little discussion.
  2. I trust reputable scientific publications, and qualified scientists, not the talking heads on CNN or whatever you have in mind. National Geographic had a great article explaining the wet market theory. It was done in good faith, and if the more compelling evidence comes out that points to a lab leak, so be it. That's science. They learn new things and adjust accordingly.
  3. I hear eating ass is all the rage these days, but it's not really my thing.
  4. You guys are going to continue to lie and pretend there was a media blackout on the lab leak theory when the science already was clear, that your orange hero was a brave truth teller, ignoring the man literally admitted to Bob Woodward about being a liar over it, and it's all very unfortunate.

You said the virus was released to hurt Trumps re-election as Trump was claiming. If you don’t remember this, it’s not my fault you have the memory of a puppy. In order for you to be right, because the article claims the virus was manufactured then you also have to admit you were wrong because the same article states the virus release was an accident and that the scientists tried to cover it up. This isn’t difficult to follow for most people.

It's possible Trump was privy to info he couldn't share for security reasons, and knew there was something to the Wuhan Lab Leak when it wasn't the leading theory, but then it would make no sense why he wasn't on the same page with his own government. U.S. intel - not the media - said they didn't believe the virus was manmade or modified. U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence issued a statement claiming Trump's assertion was false right after Trump made it. That, coupled with the fact a few days before Trump suggested injecting disinfectant, is probably what helped to make people skeptical. Understandable.

But there's another possibility. Trump was actually talking out of his ass the whole time, and our reexamination of the origins of the virus matching his theory is just a coincidence. Which would be comical.

I suppose there's a third possibility. Trump was pouring over the scientific literature and made an independent evaluation of the evidence at hand at odds with the leading scientific theories at the time because he's so bigly brained and knows the best words and only now are they catching up to him. I feel we can safely rule this one out, though.
